Lol sorry, stupid comment on my part. I didn't realize this was the Strong FD. You get gas at 10, which weakens economy for a Stronger push (hence the name, right). What I was thinking was the standard FD, in which case the earlier gas is a bad idea. My bad :(

Time efficiantly go for engenering bay and build a turret close to the entrance to your main/expansion, and place units there, but when you move out, wait until you have a scan or a vessel, GL :)

Fake double means that you make enough units from 1fac to make it look like a 2fac.

that's the real key of this build.

No, Fake Double means you research mines and get vultures right after your first tank, so you have an early push while fast expanding at the same time. The point of the build is that you can abuse goons with tank range and have mines, so you can either be aggressive with a small FD push or safely expand (mine protection).

It used to be that if you went 2fact and rushed, you would research mines first, get 2 tanks and a few vultures then push. Mines before siege = FD, weird as it is.
