I prefer that in our first introduction to the Wilis, their heads are covered with veils. It seems appropriate for a bride-to-be who has been jilted or betrayed to wear a veil. It's a part of her trouseau that is never to be. Also, it adds to the mysterious nature of these maidens, now in death called the Wilis.

надо же. только сегодня смотрела этот балет в театре Станиславского, хореография сохранена полностью такая же.

Татьяна Чернобровкина великолепна в роли Жизели.

и Семен Чудин тоже очень хорош.
