I would be scared to use a lighter to melt the sides as I would be afraid of a chance of setting fire to myself or surroundings if I dropped the mesh/netting.
@dinosaursarerawraful hi, it doesn't really have to be stiff, just tight enough to hold the brush in place. I've seen some people use the styrofoam you're talking about, paper, tape... So you can use whatever you want! :)
@MACgirL821 Hi, I put a tape on the tip to make a straight line then painted it with nail polish. Wen the tips are like that the person usually painted it with nail polish, they don't usually come like that. Hope this helps Thanks
wow very creative. i have a totally random question... how do u color the ends of your brush handles. i see a lot of pple with it and im wondering how it's done? just nail polish or is it something else? like at 2:46 , did u do that yourself or is that hwo the brush came?
@shevonne3 It's basically just mesh :) what you can do is just take the mesh off a fruit box (like Clementines, since they're in season right now) and then measure and melt them :) mesh can also be found at your local craft store, or even an old laundry bag. Good luck!
