Im not sure if her Jazz Bass is a Jaco distressed model that was sold a while back or if shes had it for years and it eventually came into that condition.

Good question... I somehow don't see her being into the 'Fake' old axe thing..! I know she used to play an old 70's Fender Jazz on the 1st album that had frets so worn it sounded fretless on some songs.. In her travels she probably came across an 'actual' old Bass!
