  • U make me laugh with the cat...:)

Why don't u use ur slingshot.!

  • kyocera knives allthough made of ceramic are impregnated with steel powder so they do show up

  • Hey Joerg. If you are taking suggestions; I looked at the video of the rocks in slow motion and I thought while looking at how the rock went in about three inches then appeared to be gripped by the gelatin and pulled back about 1.5 inches "what if you lubed up the rock before shooting it into the gelatin?" I would really like to see this done. Maybe if you get time while filming another video you can have a test? If not let me know what you think would happen :~)

  • well that is true with the other blades but kyocera puts metal particles inside the blade just enough so metal detectors can detect it

  • I don't think the body scanners is necessary and that airport security needs to be any greater than what it is. You have buffoons from the TSA searching toddlers and making old women take off their adult diapers. There was even report of a TSA agent putting a note in a woman's luggage that said something to the effect "Get your groove on girl". I think what is lacking here is common sense. One thing they need to do is PROFILE certain people.

  • I think showing the cat every so often is a good idea, it gives a good vibe to your show, making it seems more professional, and something that would be on TLC or HGTV.

  • What about using something like nuts with a hard shell for ammo?

  • Nimm keine steine sondern keramik kugeln

  • @Duralast, you're an idiot. 9/11 wasn't an inside job, and Bush didn't wire tap or "remote control" the planes, that has to be the most retarded theory I've ever heard. Please don't bring political nonsense onto a badass slingshot channel please or accuse Joerg of such ridiculousness. He raises good points and just said the security needs to be tightened. I happen to live in NYC so very offended by that comment...

Joerg, awesome video man! I agree, these could easily be hidden.

  • Good conclusion regarding security but even these measures would not be enough against a determined enemy. I wonder how the rock performance would be improved using smoother stones from rivers and/or actual marbles against the ballistic gelatin? Danke

  • Typo

  • @kaitendo

The terrorists feel think that they will be rewarded for martyrdom, so they have no problem with killing them selves

  • I like the fact, that you are in Nature. :D

  • @rimcvil no most terrorist think that the afterlife is better than their current life so they have no problem killing themselves

  • @nicholasgg1 who told you that? lol

  • do you sell your slingshots?

  • @JoergSprave An extremely interesting video.

In relation to the ceramic knife, apparently Kyocera have realised the security risk these knives present. During manufacture, the zircon which is pressed and baked at 1500'C to form the ceramic blade is first mixed with a small amount of metallic material. The metallic material added is present throughout the blade and in sufficient quantity to trigger detection in airport security devices.

  • meinst du so ein stein kann einen töten wenn man den kopf trifft ? ich meine nicht größere steine sondern diese im video.

    lg

  • Those ceramic materials are awesome. They are used as cutting materials for industrial metal work. While HSS tool steel can cut ordinary steel at 90m/min those ceramics reach up to 2000m/min almost as much as industrial diamond. This is because that stuff is incredibly hard and unlike steel materials is almost immune to high temperatures

  • @JoergSprave, Thank your for this video there are many many things that can be brought onto a plane via a person that would not trigger a metal detector. I have personally worked with several airport companies with Securities agencies Technology is ever improving and there are now detectors that can tell the difference between a bottle of water and multiple chemicals, they can detect explosives and personal Xray machines produce less radiation then people would like to think.

  • you could use marbles, which you have proven more effective.

  • Joerg, your video proves that there can not be absolute security at all. Well done!

Your conclusion on the other hand seems incorrect: To what ridiculous lengths would you go to 'tighten security'? Mandatory background checks? Handcuffing passengers (that look strong like you)? Ban airplanes?

Are you familiar with the concepts of liberty and freedom? Should it not be the choice of the airlines how much security they want to pretend? Flying too risky; why not use other means of transportation?

  • Cold Steel is a great company! Also, where do you acquire all of your fashionable T-shirts?? haha

  • i read somewhere that kyocera adds a metallic substance to the ceramic compound before the knives are made so that they are detected by airport scanners. Great videos btw.

@JoergSprave You really seem to be into the official conspiracy theory when you write "Mohammed Atta and his fellow terrorists used box cutters to hijack the planes.". That claim can certainly be sourced, but not proven physically. The collapse of the three WTC skyscrapers proves that there had to be more involved than just two planes filled with hydrocarbons. • "Dangerous weapons..."

    *Cut to cat*

    Cat's are dangerous weapons!

  • i bet terrorist are watching this

  • How many attacks since 9/11 have there been by people using weapons on airplanes?

Now how necessary are bodyscanners, searching shoes and the like?

  • @awhislyle Precaution often proves unnecessary when taken. Which unfortunately does not mean you can skip it.

  • @JoergSprave precaution is like vanilla extract in a cake (im a baker so bear with my food based analogies) when its there, it goes unnoticed and seems unneeded, however when its not there, it is missed, and that is when we truly know how necessary it is.

  • @JoergSprave might i also suggest a shard of obsidian as an invisible weapon. its super sharp and wont have any problem with a persons throat.

  • @JoergSprave if you were to multiply the deaths from terrorism on planes in all of history by 10 it would still be much more dangerous to drive even in Germany.

People smuggle animals and drugs through security everyday. Even with body scanners. Why haven't people been using these knives for 20 years?

Hijacking a plane since 1930 has been death sentence. People don't do it often because even criminals realize it's a dumb idea. Most terrorists want to terrorize another day.

  • @awhislyle Did you forget about the guy who made a poor bomb in his pants and set it off, but all it did was catch his underwear on fire? That was just a few years ago.

  • @awhislyle better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it

  • Where did you get a sword?

  • @DuralastTurbo I am not sure about this. Conspiracy stuff does not appeal to me. The footage I saw was pretty darn convincing.

  • @DuralastTurbo Wow, you think all that nonsense about me because I make slingshots at home, as a pure hobby? (Shrug)

  • @JoergSprave U pretend 2 think Arabs attacked America on 911. It has nothing 2 do with slingshots. It has 2 do with the fact U pretend 2 think there is such a thing as magical fireproof passports that float out of 'hijacker' pockets, survive impact into a big steel, survive explosion, float through the debris 2 land magically atop the rubble pile @ ground zero 2 blame camel jockeys 2 something corrupt WHTIES & JEWS did. Your goal is the destruction of the USA & Middle East - simple

  • @HornSpeakersSuk I am giving up on you. Off you go from my comment pages. Get a new account and try again, be a bit less aggressive and I may let you survive here.

  • @JoergSprave HE GOT PWNED

  • @HornSpeakersSuk U n33d 2 lrn 2 spe4k proprlee b4 U tawk abt stupd shi7

  • @JoergSprave Oh, never mind building 7 was never hit by a plane, & there was thermate demo goo all over the site, that remained molten 4 MONTHS after the inside job. Jet fuel doesn't even burn hot enough 2 melt steel - nor does office furniture, etc. Hey maybe U can tell us all about how Iran has 'threatened 2 nuke Isra-Hell' or something, U butt-licking NWO minion of the bankster jews =)) Gawd U R so PATHETIC! & I can say these things, 'cuz I'm part German myself.I know your trix.

  • @HornSpeakersSuk Wow, are you antisemitic?

  • @DuralastTurbo Bloody hell! You are in serious need of some karma and vallium!

  • @DuralastTurbo You sir, ARE A MORON.

  • @MyThisisaname U R a shill, & a troll. Mr. Slingshot here does not actually believe camel jockeys were behind 911. Mr. Slingshot does not believe the FBI magically discovered the super-fireproof passports of 'hijackers' the very same day, which magically floated 2 the top of the rubble pile @ ground zero after surviving both the impact, & fireball, & exiting their pockets & wallets 2 B found. NOBODY is that stupid. U just want 2 murder Arabs.

  • @HornSpeakersSuk No, I don't. You don't even know the meaning of the word troll.

  • @MyThisisaname U R just attacking me - doing your 'kill-the-messenger' dance, because U R an anti-Arab RACIST who wants an excuse 2 murder millions of Iranians next. Go on with your trolling, troll. Do your troll dance some more. It's not my fault the word 'troll' precisely defines your behavior, troll.

  • @HornSpeakersSuk Also, I'm Iranian and I still don't belive it was the US govenment. rasict pussy.

  • @JoergSprave Hey maybe U can tell us how Libya is so much better off now that we destroyed their water system & murdered zillions of htem & handed the place over 2 foreign corporations 2 rape them even harder =D WHEEE!

    NATO Spreading Democracy in Libya

    watch?v=MUqKY7S4MHw

I'm white, but 1 thing's 4 damn sure - the generosity Gadaffi demonstrated more generosity than U would ever C from N E white nation in 100 zillion years. Free land AND water 2 desert farmers? College, etc-OMG

  • @DuralastTurbo try posting this on a video that is on topic with this. Otherwise, nobody cares...

  • @DuralastTurbo Wow, is it really easier for you to type "N E" instead of "any"? I mean, you have to press shift and it's exactly as many keys to press anyway 0_o

  • @DuralastTurbo FFS, stop fishing... nobody here is interested in your pseudo awareness issues. And move to Libya.

  • @VUO4E Add yourself 2 the list of clowns who love 2 pretend that 911 wasn't an inside job, & we should go murder zillions more innocent foreigners who just want 2 do business with us, & sell our children's future 2 the bankster jews. Go on - tell us all about how U think it makes your penis bigger if U pay double 4 gasoline & destroy the future of your own country with endless, wasteful wars that do nothing but enrich people who's goal is the destruction of all life, including yours.

  • @DuralastTurbo Tell us what you think of the nerve gas attack on the Tokyo subways?

  • @MyThisisaname I have no thoughts on such attax whether or not they occured, because I know nothing about them. I do know, however, just as U do, that 911 was an inside job, & not the product of camel jockey terrorists. Mr. Slingshot also knows this, but he prefers 2 pretend it was Arabs, so he can have an excuse 2 grope little children as a future TSA agent =)

  • @HornSpeakersSuk Well this is going noware, i respect your understanding.

  • @MyThisisaname U R just trolling me because I state obvious, verifiable facts that U do not like, because your goal is the murder of millions of innocent Arabs who never attacked us, & U would rather rape yourself @ the gas pump with artificially inflated prices due 2 these endless genocidal anti-Arab murder fests, & hang over your money in 'austerity' 2 jew banksters. I understand, troll. Go on, troll - tell us all about how we must kill people who had nothing 2 do with 911.

  • @MyThisisaname Typo - I meant 2 write U would rather HAND over your $ 2 banksters =) NOt hang - O' well - still true, U pathetic, suicidal TROLL.

  • @HornSpeakersSuk No I just meant that i don't want to argue.

  • @DuralastTurbo are you really stupid enough to believe the shit you just said? xDDD nice video like always^^

  • I've seen some clear obsidian knives on the internet before, sharpest edge in the world although very brittle. It's completely clear with no impurities and also, if u put it in water its completely invisible. Undetectable by metal detectors, and invisible to the human eye if in water. That's an invisible weapon. :]

  • @JoergSprave

When i'll make enough money, i'll order a saphire knife from a jewelry/weapon maker in Russia.

There is no way it can be detected (because it's clear and translucent you'd see any particles)

Saphire edge is so sharp, that it is very common in medical scalpels (eye surgeries).

And i don't even need to conceal it (it looks more like a chunk of crystal than a knife).

Au contraire i'd get a nice jewelry packaging with sarcastic "handle with care" label XD

  • Welcome to another episode of Terrorists' 101

  • Im not a huge sling shot guy but you have a great channel here, fun to watch and makes me wish i had a sling shot again

  • we all know the governments are the terrorists and all these terrorist groups are created by intelligence services. maybe shoot some occupying american soldiers with your slingshots and free germany? the holohoax needs to be destroyed and German pride restored

  • Its easy to make even metal objects invisible for a body scanner, with a piece of raw meat. There is no absolute securety. A terrorist could even hide a bomb in his ass. Do you want every flight passenger to be ass-controlled because of that?

  • Body scanners ,..... Get to see ur dick man!!!

  • IMHO I think each passenger should be issued a billiard ball upon boarding. Difficult to hijacked an airplane with billiard ball. Even more difficult when your fellow passengers give you half dozen shots to the head with their billiard balls. ;)

  • Not everyone intends to hijack a plane... in fact I think the probability of this happening is VERY VERY LOW and with these weapons said person would not succeed unless highly skilled... in which case a weapon wouldnt be needed...

Airport security is too stiff actually and body scanners... well.. do some research on those things... they are very unsafe

  • Dude. You should seek some counselling.

  • Let me say this serrated knives can fuck you up, my thumb is proof of that.

  • thats in relation to the marble vid more

  • Meanwhile in an arabian desert, alquaeda cave,

"WE DONT NEED BOMBS!!!! WE NEED SLINGSHOTS!!!!"

  • I think using marbles like you proved in your other video would prove more lethal than pebbles.

  • Increased security? I have a better idea. Let everyone bring weapons on. That would work very well here in the United States. Noone is going to be stabing when they know there is most likely 10 people with pistols near by, lol.

  • @Jesses001 Sure, I guess suicide bombers fear too much for their lives to risk it.

  • @Hedning1390 Good point, lol. That is a minor flaw in my plan I will have to work out.

  • the scanners can give you canser

  • joerg, i was wonder where you get balistisc gel. please answer.

  • Jorge I'll share with you what I always taught the boy scouts when I was a leader. Never get bloody, cut towards your buddy. That was dangar ewak when you swung that sword towards your wife

  • heh, I could see you pulling a slingshot on anybody that tries to cause trouble in the airplane you're on XD

  • woohoo cold steel

  • lol, could you imagine someone trying to steal stuff from his house.

  • Wait cant they tell its a weapon if its shaped like a knife and sharp since they have xrays as well?

  • very cool subbed

  • I want a very thick gelatin vest... about 6 inch. Then i will be perfectly safe from all your weapons.

  • Where do you buy your gelatin? Or make?

  • @christo930 exactly

  • I am totally against the body scanners and the full body searches. I have 2 better ideas 1) make the cockpit inaccessible from the passenger section and arm the pilots, even if if just with rubber bullets or bean bags that are incapable of piercing the plane, they could also use tazers.

With your strongest slingshot, how many feet per second can you get one of those balls going?

  • I thought nobody was fool enough to believe 19 Arabs with boxcutters...

There comes AGENDA 21, and there will be a lot more security. Rejoice, fools.

  • How about we lift the federal regulations on the airlines and let pilots have their glocks? We don't need a private company / government merging going on in our airlines. If nobody can carry a gun on a plan then what's a stupid knife going to do against a gun?

  • best reaction was to the cold steel knife

    "let's see...WOOOO... kinda dangerous"

  • The TSA does NOTHING but give fools a false sense of security.

  • They make carbon fiber knives as well. They're quite expensive so I haven't bought one to see what they're like, but I'm betting they're pretty damn dangerous.

  • I'd be SCARED AS SHIT filming that last clip with the samurai sword where he swings it TOWARDS the camera.

  • @iseelifeinhd Pussy

  • Couldn't you use like carbon fibre or even ceramic balls to shoot from the sling shot? Great video, btw.

  • @692caboose you are correct. People forget these things. You sir are a very smart person. Nice of you to inform people. Kudos

  • Lol "it could probably slit a throat.... we'll find out."

  • composition of carbon fibers. I know this because just lately i've been considering making a carbon fiber knife, because i'm obsessed with carbon fiber based and carbon nanotube based products and the pattern of carbon fiber is cool. Another note, guns don't HAVE to be made out of metal. Also realize that terrorist organizations have more resources and contacts than the average citizen, so don't be call me a liar because they can do things you can't. Also youtube is internation so no links.

  • You people seem to have forgotten you can make your own knives. Ceramic knives can be made by anyone, all you need is the knowledge and materials. The materials and knowledge can both be found online. Also, it is possible to make a knife out of carbon fiber, just as jorge's slingshot. Carbon fiber knives are lightweight and durable; the fact that the carbon fiber slingshot didn't break is proof enough. Carbon fiber knives can also be sharpened to a fine edge, but will lose it due to the

  • that could be your catch phrase

    "it's sling shot time"

  • sad to say that is nothing but a scare mongering vid in my eyes. the facts are that modern terrorism is a western invention to control, look it up. nothing to do with some poor sod minding there own before they get bombed. men in a cave blow up locations in london and NY? erm morning your toast is ready time to wake up.

look at b b c 5 (dot) tv nothing to do with the bbc uk proper-gander bull,

    no offense.

    peace n love all

    stay safe pip

  • I am not sure but doesnt the distance the object goes into the ballistic gelatin determine the amount of damage done by said object?

  • We're not allowed to take pointy metal things such as screwdrivers onto planes... but they still let us eat with plastic knives and forks and carry ballpoint pens.

  • Science at the service of mankind. Thank you.

  • there is zero chance of a terrorist using one of these weapons and gaining access to the cockpit. The passengers would rise up.

  • @spicydragonz I really hope you don't breed.

  • @Patchyman253 Why? The calculation as a passenger is that the terrorist will use the plane and kill everyone. it is better to risk my life than let the Mohammed Atta take over the plane.

  • those who would give up freedom for security, deserve neither..

  • i love the comment "The citizens need to be armed" because you don't realize that your arming your self against other citizens you think exactly the same way you do. you take a knife of protection, and they take a knife for protection then every ones stabbing each other because of the fear of getting stabbed

  • Joerg, i know for a fact that they put metal powder into the ceramics blades just so that they can not be smuggled through a metal detector. Just thought you should know so you dont try smuggling one of those things XD

  • @PooPxGravity What is your source of information? I hope not just a TV documentary. My wife works in the hospital, she will xray the knife - then we will know.

  • @JoergSprave Hey Joerg, I am not the person you are talking to but I decided to show you what he is talking about. This is from Wikipedia: "Ceramic knives may present a security problem as ceramics are not seen by conventional metal detectors. To hinder misuse of concealed knives many manufacturers include some metal to ensure that they are seen by standard equipment."

  • @mikeymike4g63 "Some manufacturers", maybe. But not Kyocera. I had the knife xrayed (my wife works in the hospital). No metal particles. BTW, Kyocera is the biggest manufacturer of ceramics knifes. It seems to me that some guys just WANT to believe that ceramics knifes can be "seen" by metal detectors. It's a false myth, plain and simple. Anyone can smuggle these into an airplane.

  • @JoergSprave and, how did it go?

  • Was the carbon fiber used for the slingshot cut out from a template or did you actually do the weaving?

  • I LOL'd at the samurai sword

  • So now you teach people how to get onto planes as well as school.

  • 7:05-7:14 metal gear rising.

  • Just up a sign that you might be on the airplane and they will go to a different airport

  • allahu akbar...miau

  • u have a arsenal of arms and cats! great! :)

  • my view on this is as follows: guns are obviously more powerful, but slingshots are 2'000'000 times more intimidating!

  • Were does he get the money for this

  • so much cats xDD

  • Joerg-San

  • as always very entertaining and always funny good imagination thanks joerg

  • who wouldve ever thought knives were sharp! and potentially dangerous..

  • hey this isn't related to this video directly but I think it would be cool if you had a competition for who can make the "best" slingshot judged by you of course, I be keen to enter just to get given a shout out by you

  • the ceramic knife has a special material put into it can be seen by metal detectors

    its for safety reasons ofcourse

  • is that gelatin eatable?

  • @MrTroll652 Sure - but it has no flavor at all. I guess you can add sugar and lemon.

  • Hey ich mal eine frage an dich unzwar hast du eigentlich schon mal ein Tier mit einer deiner Zwillen getötet ?

  • Because of 9-11 hijacking a plane with a primitive weapon is no longer much of a concern for a few reasons. One, people will fight back. Passengers did not fight against the 9/11 hijackers because using a plane as a weapon was unheard of at that time. Primitive weapons can cause some damage, but can't control 200 people with nothing to lose. Two, reinforced and locked cockpit doors. Pilots now know to not let anyone into the cockpit under any circumstance even if they have a hostage or a 'bomb'.

  • @SMELLTHEBULL Wait a second... all I am saying is that I don't like sitting unarmed in an airplane, while terrorists can easily smuggle in dangerous weapons. So we need better scanners, or a different law. The current situation is unacceptable.

  • @JoergSprave look up 'kurt Haskell' on YT he is a lawyer who witnessed the underwear bomber being escorted on the plane by a smartly dressed man back in 2009.

  • @JoergSprave Yeah. But maybe you've fallen prey to a web of deceipt designed to make you believe that the threat of "terrorism" and other "threats" are much more real than they really are so that you will accept, or even advocate, the slow and steady replacement of civil liberties with a totlitarian world order. And all in the name of keeping you "safe".

  • @JoergSprave The citizens need to be armed. That's the solution.

  • @SMELLTHEBULL Hope one day you're sitting behind the guy who decides to go ape shit on a plane armed with something similar. All of you are the same really.... you bash laws and law enforcement till the day it comes back to bite you in your ass and you need them... All in the name of what? Your personal freedom?? Its a privilege to fly...not a right. So if a body scanner helps even 1% of the time I could care less whether or not your thin skinned, hipster ego is hurt. Stick with your mac book.

  • @Murdism Firstly, don't assume that you know anything about me. I know you might find it comforting to put people in little boxe's but that approach is really quite simple minded and leads to an underestimation of others. I am no more thin skinned than you are probably and I am far from being a hipster. Do you really think I'm following a fashion here? Do really think having your eyes wide open and being willing to face the horrible reality of what is unfolding in this world is just a craze?

  • @Murdism Secondly: I am by no means bashing all law and all law enforcement. If you wish to see it that way then you want to simplify what I am saying because, you are either a fascist or a coward or both. If you think that all law and all law enforcement exists to serve and protect the general public, then you are profoundly Naive. There is also a point when law and law enforcement starts to become totalitarianism. I think we have been led and cohersed past that point.

  • @SMELLTHEBULL Your name is incredibly accurate, might I say. I smell the bull of a tinfoiler, right there.

  • @SventheCrusader Yeah, well I smell the bull of someone who is either a knowing supporter Totalitarianism or someone who is too dumb/cowardly to realise it's on it's way. I also smell the bull of someone who has not got the guts or the brains to engage with someone like me on a meaniingful level but instead needs to resort to cliches and cheapshot insults.

  • We should all be microchipped to, eh Joerg. We should also replace annual holidays with a mandatory annual stay in state conditioning centres. Oh! we should have cameras in every room in our houses to, so that we can all be "safe". Well Joerg, I hope you are planning on being one of the overlords in the Orwellian world you are advocating.Because if you're not, you're going to come to look back on the crock of shit you believed and bought in to and you are gonna feel very foolish indeed.

  • they should just ask them their religion,if it's islam, ask them if they believe in their holy war,if they answer positively in this too, as a country you reasonably have the right to not allow them into your incoming plane

also, stop your politicians from killing random people for revenge, and you will need less security

  • I love the flint knife. You can actually make much sharper edges from obsidian, but it breaks easyer if forced too much - like if you try stabbing at an angle or through thick clothes. What's very readily available is glass. It chipps almost as sharp as obsidian. Great vid.

  • What is the name of the machine gun looking sling at the very beginning? Is there a 'How to'? It looks Ingenius!! =P

  • was anyone else like holly shit where did the samurai come from? awesome video joerg!

  • For sure

  • Man your videos are extremly interesting.Thank you a lot again.

  • @steve4674 5 mm.

  • THEY'D BETTER INTERDICT OUR HANDS AND FEET in the planes, as long as someone can easier kill with a guillotine choke rather than with such a "knife". As for the slingshot - deploying and stretching it needs to much time and space to be practical in a plane!

  • As far as I know, Kyocera intentionally introduces a small amount of iron in the composition especially to ensure their knives are detectable! As for Cold Steel, I'm not completely sure that knife is completely undetectable (even they claim that officially).

  • @out5yder Cold Steel attaches a big steel key ring, takes about 30 secs to remove it. My wife will xray the Kyocera tomorrow, I don't think there is ANY metal in it. It doesn't weigh enough.

  • @JoergSprave

Actually there is a TV show called 'how its made' on discovery channel and they showed the making of this knive and showed + proved that this has metal in it to prevent people passing detectors with it.

  • @exs88 Good to know you believe everything they say on TV...

  • @BiggrWiggrthnmrNiggr You can take many hostages with a team armed with sharpened pencils. Do you think wrapping ourselves in plastic film prior to going into airplanes would be a good idea?
