There is no sleep paralysis involved here. People can be abducted while wide awake, as with Bob Matthews and the first two girls on this video. The accounts are eerily similar so that they cannot be false memories confabulated by hypnosis. Explain those.
@ImperatorDerGalaxis absolutely!!! i believe i was abducted whilst on my way to pick my daughter up from school one afternoon in the late 80's... i was pregnant with my youngest, and my son was in the buggy... we lost approx 45-50 mins of time... i was definitely awake... it was just a normal day until i saw the ufos...

Contrary to what Budd Hopkins said, scientists are doing their job correctly; it's people like Hopkins who aren't qualified or properly trained on how to deal with sleep paralysis (or missing time) that are helping to destroy these people's lives.
Budd Hopkins is creating a multitude of unnecessary pain and mental aguish for these people by putting them through hypnotic regression, which giving them these false memories.
