And i was sooooo mad about the percy jackson movie it didnt realte to the book at all Rick riordan you have to be involved to make it good and there has to be a sea of monsters i adore tyson and i really want to see what he looks like and how the movie turns out. Another thing about the movie is grover isnt that cool in the books.

@MrBouskila Of course he was nothing before Percy Jackson. Every author has one good book idea that can become wildly popular. J.K Rowling for example only has Harry Potter, and she was nothing before it. His strength is turning mythology into modern times. He is also gifted at writing through the eyes of a teenager. He is much better at it than, for example, Suzanne Collins or Orson Scott Card, who wrote great books nonetheless

Riordan is one of my favourite authors! I grew up with these series, and yeah, it's totally true about the mythology thing. It's my favourite class in school, my teacher prefers to tell the old viking mythology instead of the Greek ones. The Greek mythology is my favourites :D

I am very very sad. I seriously balled after I finished reading percy jackson. It can't be over. IT CAN'T! ..... :( noo....I love him....Seriously. I GOT JEALOUS of ANNABETH in the series. @stargirlzzz127 They've officially released that they are making a Sea of Monsters filmed. Chris Columbus will be a part of the crew, but I think he's producing instead of directing. The main characters like Logan Lerman, Alexandra Daddario and Brandon T. Jackson are expected to return for the film. It started supposedly filming this summer. :D
