  • i had an experience I walked around the corner of a garage and

hello there was a bear standing there. He woofed ,and I almost

umm filled my pantaloons. I have lived in northwestern ont

canada most of my life,I was used to bears,I love them. But I

respected their wildness. I was so scared, but I just talked quietly,

and slowly backed away around the corner. I tell you,I shook for hours

after.I also have to say he was the most beautiful animal I have

    ever seen. I was blessed

  • i love bears i wish i could get close to one if it would not kill me

    great video

  • and dont forget campers usually get attacked in their tent, because they either had food there, or had their cooking clothes there. bears are looking for sweet stuff, so naturally if you have anything, even perfume, they will just react as if you were a threat to what they are smelling.

  • brown bears and grizzlies will beat on you to make you leave normally. A black bear will kill u and eat you for food

  • Huh?

    You have that backwards.

  • Black bears are not the savage carnivores portrayed so often in the media. They are quite shy and leery of people. Most of the time their anxiety-ridden behavior is mistaken for aggressiveness, such as when a mother might bluff-charge at a human to give her cubs a chance to get away. I have been honored to have been charged by a black bear mother in the dark. She just wanted me to leave; she didn't want to attack.

  • @redbird007 right, but your making it seem as if there is no danger. There is a high danger. Especially if the bear is used to seeing people. Do not get friendly with bears. Never ends well.

  • theres alot of guys like u in the graveyard

  • bears really wont hurt you unless u ef around with em.

  • @welikeogs you have never been around a mother bear with cub, They will jump your ass in a hot second. No provocation other than walking near.

  • that is a very large black bear...where was this

  • bears....they only bite if you touch their private parts! O.O

  • Hahaha, i have bears EVERYWHERE near my house, ive ran into a bear lastnight, There pretty chil, just dont mind them, they wont mind you, I was walking in the forest and i came around a tree and i didnt realize a black bear was on the other side..I was 10feet away from it, it was like "Screw it" turned its head and walked away..There pretty cool if you dont act like a douchebas towards them

  • Where abouts do you live???

  • your lucky man, bears will kill u

  • @mypotty290 - Yeah, but try not to surprise them. Bears are unpredictable when surprised.

  • I dont care if you're in a RV,Camping Trailer or whatever i would fucking piss myself if i saw that bear anywhere close me you can laugh at me all you want lol guess its just a phobia or whatever

  • bear looks lost:L

  • Gracias!

  • looking for friends

    wanting new friends PJ

  • unless you eat the meat,I believe it's a crime to shoot these beautiful animals for the sake of having a "trophy" Thank you for posting this

  • its interesting to watch animals at work

  • jellen70:

"its interesting to watch animals at work"

    Doing what? Crapping??

  • this is coming from a guy called "theannoyingdogpoo"

  • Exactly! How could he have written that??

  • you have no idea what I'm talking about.

    idiot.

  • Thanks for sharing this. My dog and I had a strange encounter with a several hundred pound black bear up in Gatlinburg, TN exactly 8 days ago today.

Unfortunately, he was perched on the hillside that I needed to pass to get back to my hotel room. I had the strangest feeling of being watched but never expected to encounter a bear 10 yards away from me. Fight or flight, I screamed then ran! In retrospect, that was pretty stupid but for whatever reason he never gave chase.

  • Black bears are very calm and gentle creatures. The media makes them out to be much more than what they are. Even if you ran into a mom and her cubs chances are you wouldn't get chased. In fact, normally black bears will run away when they see someone approaching them, very timid.

  • hehehe, Never run... anything outside of calmness will not do you good. They are curious, not predatory. Black Bears around here (near Gatlinburg) are more Docile. You are more likely to be shot by a robber than attacked by a Black bear here.

  • Bears are chillin' for sure, the natural bears are pretty good, garbage bears are a bit more on edge. Me and a buddy had a creek that ran through our back yards and watering our gardens was a trick sometimes, lol, bears would stay in his garden and he'd have to have a growling match with them.. me, they'd drink from my water resevoir since I damned a tiny stream... I've literally came within petting distance from 2 cubs and momma... I was writing my obituary in my mind but the bears didn't care

  • I thought black bears were actually terrified of people. Around here (Minnesota) they just clear out at the sight of people, at least in my experience. The last time we were in Voyageurs National Park, I think all the bears on our island crapped themselves and swam for it, LOL! (We found lots of scat, but no other sign.)

  • interesting?? it was just interesting.

  • you should have honked the horn, i wonder if it would have attacked the car. =D

  • You were lucky. You were really close to popping out of this bear's bottom after some two days.

And by the way, does a bear shit in the woods?

  • Haha...that bear would have never attacked him if he was just there watching.

  • SqueezeMyLemonBabe: "Haha...that bear would have never attacked him if he was just there watching"

You're wrong. If the bear was hungry and had associated humans with food (by being fed previously by tourists), it could have squeezed cameraman's lemon and then eat the entire cameraman alive.

Then he would have been converted into bear shit.

  • I highly doubt the bear would give the camera man a hand job. Bears who are associated with humans understand that human BEINGS are not food. They associate food with humans and they know if they hang around humans they will find food, they do not eat humans (black bears that is). If that bear was starving there MAY have been the SLIGHTEST chance that he attacked the camerama.

  • amazing animals

  • He looks Hungry!

  • wow thats cool

i wish i could wake up 2 that instead of highways and cars and city stuff

is that in arkansas my dad was born there

  • Oh-you should have went up and petted him! Told him what a good boy he was and rubbed his belly.

(Or is that dogs you do that to?)

  • I was at Boy Scout camp a couple days ago and my friends saw a bear up on the mountain, and then a few hours later they had us all locked in the mess hall because they had to chase it out of camp!

    It was awesome.

  • where did this take place? it looks like the mountains of pennsylvania to me.

  • Good job!!!

  • haha bears great cideo good work guys

  • I love black bears ;)

  • Believe it or not, you could actually chase down that black bear and it would flee. Just run at it yelling and flailing your arms. ^_^

They're scavengers more than hunters. They'll only fight to protect their young.

  • i was in the woods yesterday, hoping to get similar video. this has to have come to you by employing nerves of steel! great shot!

  • These bears will pick up speed and exit the very moment they take notice of you. Last summer, one was on the road in front of me, and I simply cleared my throat, and he exited into the brush. After this I clapped a few times and continued down the road. This was on a hike to the old Monte Cristo townsite, washington.

  • that was kinda close closer then i would ever get!

LOL..if i could help it(chase and eat me)!

did u nave a gun just in cass?

  • woow cool

    Stupid INC Productions

  • GREAT vid

  • Pretty good shot considering the poor light; nice glimpse of a bobcat too.

We got a close-up view of a bear while camping at Hume Lake CA in 1998. Unfortunately, rangers shot and killed it because it was behaving aggressively around the campground.

As for dragging myself out of bed early, I do that rather often, especially if I know a train is coming! :-) Have fun and be safe. =PSH
