@boredkid1235 I just wanted to show how sstv works and how it can still be interpreted from an imperfect analog transmission (between my headphones and my microphone).  But yeah, a screen capture probably would have been fine :P

Are all the video artifacts a result of the encoding process or actually in the picture?

@Hiyaguy Good question. I wouldn't be surprised if they messed around with the picture a bit before converting it into a SSTV signal. It does seem like a good portion of the visual noise comes from the audio noise that they added to the signal. I'm no expert on how such a signal works though, so I can't know for sure.

how can you get the image without putting the headphones on a microphone. i have the sounds and the software but my mic and headphones are all in one so it would be easier just to play the sound into MMSSTV, if thats possible.

@killer21334 The program is called MMSSTV. As for decoding morse code, I'm sure there are some programs out there to do it, but I just used a pen and paper and decoded it by hand.

You can change the extension of the file from .wav to .mmv and then go to "File>Play sound from the file..."
