Airlines: Toxins in aircraft?

146's have always had a problem with engine oil getting into the aircon ducting - we got brand new a/c in 1989 & almost immediately had incidents of it happening - it never really got solved despite various modifications, replacements and maintenance procedures trying to stop it.

wouldnt a seperate air intake for beathing fix the problem ? unless it is the air it self at that altitude that is bad

@glennster66 Yes, indeed it would. The new Boeing 787 Dreamliner uses exactly this principle.
