It is not fair to compare Leopard with Windows 7. It is better to compare Leopard with Vista, and Snow Leopard with Windows 7. Both Apple and Microsoft made some performance enhancements in Snow Leopard and Windows 7 compared to their previous OSs. Also, it looks like the Mac has MUCH more installed on it than the PC.

para comparar deben tener exactamaente el mismo processador, memmory ram, y graficos entre otros controladores porque es claro que la pc que usaste es simple si usaras una pc como la mia de 1500 GB hard drive, 8GB memory, y intel core 7, es claro que mac jamas sera mas rapida que windows 8...

FALSO, el rendimiento de un macbook no se compara con un ekipo windows en kualkiera de sus versiones, en un mac no tienes ke esperar a ke karge todos los controladores para poder trabajar, en un mac no necesita reinstalar el OS hasta 5 veces al año x kualkier infeccion o bug etc. y lo mejor, no es necesario tener antivirus, un mac no se sicla ni aun corriendo hasta 40 areas de trabajo al mismo tiempo, y lo mejor es ke no aparece la pantalla azul justo cuando no has guardado tu trabajo.

yo he probado una mac con el mismo procesador prácticamente la misma motherboard con la misma ram que una pc con windows 7 y parece que se tardan casi lo mismo es mas creo que se tarda mas en apagarse la mac pero en lo demás casi lo mismo todo depende de los programas "virus"(pc) y que tan descuidado tengas el disco duro. antes si era mejor mac pero ahora comparten la misma tecnología y pues para pc hay mas piratería jajajaja osea me quedo windows por que no me gusta pagar por software jeje

muy bueno tu video es de los pocos en español pero un detalle es mejor, comparar con snow leopard 10.6.7, que leopard 10.5,es mas pesado (maneja compatibilidad con los procesadores power pc, aparte de ser mas antiguo) quiero suponer que la hp tambien tiene instalada la paqueteria de adobe que tiene el mabook y al juzgar por la velocidad de windows 7 parece recien formateada la lap., para mejorar la velocidad del macbook reparaste los permisos??

Instala artos programas en windows y artos en mac, el resultado, un windows lento que tienes que deshabilitarle muchas cosas del inicio msconfig, servicios inutiles, para que puedas hacer un test verdadero procura instalar las mismas aplicaciones en ambos, pero asi sean 100 programas, mac gana!

If he doesn't have the internal drive selected as the Startup drive the mac will search out on USB, firewire, the network and the internal DVD for all bootable devices before it begins booting from the internal HD. It looks like that is exactly why the mac was slower to get started than the common 23 seconds.

clearly something is wrong here, first off from the label, it says MacBook but it is a Pro...duh, and when looking at the icons, the Mac has clearly been used more and has more data that it need to gather to start and shut down. My mac still easily beats my friends and parents PC's. The one main thing PC has going for them is the price tag, and when it comes down to it, if my computer crashes, ill buy something cheaper for now, still both great products and at least the vid is fair in my opinion
