Their harmony is pure perfection and they made it look so effortless! And look how far that mike is being held from their mouths! Why aren't they in the Country Music Hall of Fame?
The Browns have such wonderful harmony and have always looked so classy. I like this love song - wish there were more songs like it these days and more good artists to sing them. It's so enjoyable to find great music like this on YouTube and I am grateful. Thank you for posting this classic. - Paula
I think yedon 64 was too hard on Bonnie. She is probably a better singer than Maxine and the little slip with the word "share" is charming and not unpleasant to listen to. And, she had the grace to be a little embarrassed about it. Catman 3369
@yedon68 Re:" wish Bonnie could hold a tune" They keyed it in C so the band could play it comfortably. D iwould have been too high for Jim Ed. Going in between to Db or (enharmonically) C# would have been a nightmare for the band. Many musicians don't play in Db without a capo and intonation problems may result. C made it extremely low for Bonnie and in singers terms she "bottomed out" on the word share. No big deal. Bonnie does far more than hold a tune as part of a legendary trio.
@MrRecordbuyer ..Sorry I meant no disrespect ...I love them...have their box set from Bear Records..agreed Bonnie did a great job...would have loved to have known them. personally...thanks....!
@mollymitch1 Did I miss something? My comment was entirely in support of The Browns in direct response to yedon 68's comment. I merely stated why the band played it in the key of C. I concluded with "Bonnie does far more than hold a tune as part of a legendary trio." How is this picking faults? Note Yedon68's polite reply to my post further down. We are all fans of The Browns and I apologize if my comments seemed critical. They certainly were not intended to be.
I was not aware that there was a problem with this video. But I guess it's not too surprising, since most (if not all) the record companies are a little paranoid these days.
And if it's unlikely to be aired in the UK, it has less than a snowballs chance in Hell to be aired here in Norway...
Good luck on posting this classic video. This is about the tenth time this has been posted (by others), only to be removed by the copyright owners. In whose best interests they are acting is beyong me, as it acts as free promotion for the group and is unlikely to be aired on any other media, especially here in the U.K.

@MrRecordbuyer People put music like this on for people to enjoy. Why pick faults in it? Just enjoy it like everyone else.
