  • scoring tries against wales in the 90's was no big deal!

    having lost a couple of generations of their best players to rugby league, and having no professional structure until 2003, wales were a joke. where as the other top nations went pro in 1996/7.

    joost was the best 9 in the world, but SA had already put 98 points on wales earlier that year. pretty much sums up where wales were at that time.

    this try will go on the same dvd as tries against fiji, tonga, samoa and argentina!
