Tekken 6 a is a more realistic hand to hand simulation. The combos are much much more complex and look way more fluid and REAlisTIC. theres way more moves in Tekken for each differenct player. I don't like Tekken because when I was younger I just mashed buttons and beat everyone, but SF4 needs some knowledge... I'm a SF franchise fan and I'm glad that I'm not Tekken fan... Don't say I don't know anything about Tekken, I have 1000G in Tekken 6 XD It's fun, but not as fun as SF. Many people don't like SF because when they start playing they just mash buttons and get their asses kicked and that ain't fun, but when they start Tekken and mash buttons with any character they beat someone...
There's tons of skill in tekken for instance, you gotta have your timing down packed for combos and counters, you have to always be aware of the distance between you and your opponent so your attacks connect, unlike street fighter you can't spam moves, button mash, or corner trap and hope to win. I'm not saying there's no skill in street fighter, but there's a whole lot more in tekken
well I have been a tekken fan since back in the 90s. When Steve Fox came out in tekken 4 I was amazed. Now that Miguel is in Tekken 6, its still amazes me that namco was able to keep up its creativity. Street fighter is still too 2D for me.

The fact u dont have to unlock any characters is a plus, it was such a laborious task unlocking every fighter in SF4.

Tekken Tag was my first fighting game and so I like Tekken more than SF, but SF is still good. I kinda suck at T6, but practicing seems worth it. It's true that you won't get anywhere with the experts if you don't seriously learn a characters move set. I only know one 10-hit combo and I usually mess that up lol

Both Tekken and SF are good games. I played them both so many times as a kid and now as an adult . SF is my fav. 2D fighter and Tekken is my fav. 3D fighter. SF is great but Tekken is my fav. fighter of all fighting games and I think it's better.

well I have been a tekken fan since back in the 90s. When Steve Fox came out in tekken 4 I was amazed. Now that Miguel is in Tekken 6, its still amazes me that namco was able to keep up its creativity. Street fighter is still too 2D for me.

@anglekan SF started out as a 2D game and works well as a 2D game, which is why all the 3D SF games sucked imo
The best 3D fighting games imo are between tekken and Virtua fighter, if u wana compare games then compare games which are the same in style and form. comparing SF to Tekken is a pointless argument they are too different.

@dabos90 SF4 is deffo disappointing, i still think 3rd strike is a better fighting game than SF4 however SF4 is still fun to play but not as could as it should have been. I think Capcom has tried to rectify this with Super SF4 by adding some 3rd strike characters etc and tbh Super SF4 is a lot better than SF4. The fact u dont have to unlock any characters is a plus, it was such a laborious task unlocking every fighter in SF4.

It can take you weeks to nail down a tekken fighter's move. @ILOVETVSHOWZ well actually you might be able to spam moves but with timeing you cud easily counter spamming unlike sf4 were if your in a corner and ther spamming a low kick and if they have a faster char its kinda pointless plus that back to back shoryukens and now you can cancel them to go even faster plus 1 might be 2d and the other 3d but you can still compare wich is the better successor bein there both side to side fighting games i mean if we were talkin about dbz then u cud say that

Tekken Tag was my first fighting game and so I like Tekken more than SF, but SF is still good. I kinda suck at T6, but practicing seems worth it. It's true that you won't get anywhere with the experts if you don't seriously learn a characters move set. I only know one 10-hit combo and I usually mess that up lol

Tekken on the other hand I can finish that game doing the same move over and over again on any difficultly but tekken still a good game 5 stars cuteness

i haven't played tekken 6 so my vote doesn't really count. buuut just about street fighter, at first yes i would agree it feels like a "button action" game. but when you play for a while and get deep into the game you have to have full control on each combo to play other skilled players. whatever though glad you're enjoyin tekken, ill have to check it out haha

BUTTON ACTION! are you serios. if a five year old can beat you in sf4 mashing buttons then there is a BIG problem. If you want to get good in sf no scratch that in any fighting game than you need to start training and start learning the game better they have a challenge and training mode so that you can learn some combos with a particular character so ther is no excuse on way you cant learn to play the game better.

If you haven't played it already, I recommend Soul Calibur 4! A lot of the best characters in that game are girls, and it's made by the same people that made Tekken! Oh, and it has an Asian girl.

Both Tekken and SF are good games. I played them both so many times as a kid and now as an adult . SF is my fav. 2D fighter and Tekken is my fav. 3D fighter. SF is great but Tekken is my fav. fighter of all fighting games and I think it's better.

Tekken 6 is better then Street fighter 4. First of all Tekken as better graphics. Second Street Fighter has all the jumping. Third Tekken 6 as moves from real life martial arts. Lastly Tekken is just better.
