That's not to say that for example, shempi on LP3 isn't a fucking masterpiece, same applies for other songs on their "worse" albums. I'd take LP4 over any other album released this year. :)

Best music to contemplate to ever. The flowing melodies are always visualized as quicksilver flowing across a countertop to me. Ratatat's music is a rare gem in this age of garbage pop. There is a song for every event in my life, and so far no other music in the world, even tchaikovsky, can do that for me.

No joke man, i talked to Mike after the Toronto concert, and i asked him about the next album, and its already written, and recorded, it just needs to be released. I think they're trying to get it hyped up more.

yeah they recorded both albums in the same 2 weeks in the studio, so LP4 should have a lot of the same influences as LP3

from the way the bands sounds like in interviews, it could very well be a joke. But the very first song they played on the LP3 tour was 'Snifters' and I'm assuming that will be on LP4 cause its fucking sick. You can also find videos for another new song called 'Grap Juice'... i care too much...
