I too found Sigur Ros through Vanilla Sky and have come to love their music. I personally feel this is a wonderful performance, sung with great feeling and almost tangible reverence. Over the years I have been moved by great music, especially Pink Floyd and Bob Dylan in their time, also truly special, but in my humble opinion Sigur Ros have surpassed all before. I'm not a religious man, but this will be the music I wish to be played at my funeral. Perhaps, maybe, it will take me to heaven.

Well Im not saying for 100% sure, but Ive whatched alot of interviews with this band, and what hes saying is, not really bullshit. What they do is write the music first, and then try to make a lyric to the song, and usually artists humm or make sounds to how the lyric will sound, thats what hes singing, and thats what is called Hopelandic.

Also they like to keep peoples mind open to their music, so you can hear whatever you feel from their music, even if you dont understand it.
