The way things are set up intelligent music very rarely breaks through because most people want some basic little tune they can dance to in a club and some catchy lyrics to sing or have as a ringtone on a t-shirt. Scorz is from before all the post grime shit which is around now. People don't want music that teaches them things or that they have to think about or put time into understanding, they want to hear about glamour and escapism. Your average listener is lazy, just how it is sadly. peace.

sorry if i had a bit of a rant there haha, I kind of hate whats happened to hip hop in the last few years. scorz was one of the first british mcs I heard about 6/7 years ago, I'm glad you heard him on the BBC tho cause back in the day he was on Tim westwoods show with a guy called Lee Ramsey when they were both real young (in a group called out da ville) (early 90s I think if you can find those fresstyles they are amazing) but i'm glad hes back. from what i've heard of his album its great.
