  • lol america wastes there money and time sending a rover to mars and its sea of rocks but this monolith nope let the Russians do it e.e

i hate this country some times

  • *spits out coffee* MY GOD.

  • Where is the rest of it...? I was really getting into it.

  • @shivator ooohh, I guess you got me on that one Shitavor

  • @AngrySackBoy perfectly square like yur head!

  • Cut to the chase at 1:30.

  • More fodder to distract the internet-dazed-and-confused masses - at least the ones retaining any intellectual curiosity - from reality... For the others, funny cats, boobs and celeb culture are sufficient as a distraction...

Mix a couple of facts with a dozen (esp. fantastic) conjectures and you can hook plenty of guppy fish. Meanwhile, the secular-military-corporate-banking juggernaut ploughs on, crushing the world underfoot.

  • i don't trust something from someone who doesnt know his numbers. it exists? okay. get someone on your program who knows what he's talking about. "20, 30 thousand miles... i don't know, i don't remember the exact numbers."

  • How is it going faster than it should?

  • LOL what a load of crap. people get excited because a rock is a bit square shaped. It is not even a square!

  • phobos is like a asteroid.

  • probably nothing abnormal, but more compelling than that bloody "face" on mars! this object reminds me of objects I see in satellite photos, objects that are buildings...I wouldnt send a mission just to look at this, but if in the neighborhood I'd fly by it

  • If we go to Mars for shure we'll find skeletons there :(

If we don't go its our fault, that means we are going to do to our world just what they did on Mars.

  • @7to777 Highly improbable. There WAS life on Mars, but it was microscopic. But, who knows. Humans may have originated from Mars. Our solar system may be older than we think. WE may be older than we think.

  • @Dagg215 I am so tired of ass faces like yourself, regurgitating what poeple tell you. You dont have a fucking clue. Keep your trap shut. Were we originated is anyones guess but it wasnt from apes. But to say Mars like is only microscopic is insanely stupid. Yes, we are older than what we are told, yes.

  • @Jfrog68 I am NOT the person to follow what people tell me. I know what I learn, I've taught it to myself. By what I can tell, you question EVERYTHING that is fact. You also seem pretty fucking arrogant, just like the 93% the human race. Chances are, Mars only had microscopic life. You act like there are little, scrauny green men in flying frisbees shooting lasers and shoving shit up our assholes. But then again, you may be part right. We may be a hybrid breed of a dying race.

  • Its the rock Chuck Norris threw when he was ten!! Geez

  • What's the big mystery here?

This is obviously Alice Kramden's headstone. Do the words "One of these days Alice....BANG...ZOOM...TO THE MOON, ALICE!!!" ring a bell with anyone??

  • Where is the rest of this?

  • its is a fucking rock

  • @uberheino How many perfect square rocks have you seen? Oh yeah, none. Guess you're wrong brohan, sorry.

  • @uberheino Wrong,it is a fkin bird for you!

  • @uberheino sure, and you are meat

  • @ragingteddybear1 Wow,you're obviously so much smarter than everyone.,including former astronaut Buzz Adrin, who was recently talking about this object on Phobos.Thank goodness your here to let us all know whats real and what isnt jack ass.Oh and BTW,the Russians are embarking on a mission to investigate this very moon, but again, they should've asked you first, right??Do us all a favor and take your arrogant skepticism and cram it where the sun doesnt shine. Not everything is a kooky conspiracy.

  • @brianbela Buzz Adrin lol... a crazy old adrenalin fuelled jet jockey. Not exactly the greatest brain of the 20th century.

It's a rock, just like all the others you see around it, just more impressive to look at. No doubt interesting but hardly proof of an alien civilisation sitting on this moon.

  • @ragingteddybear1 Good for you! If you have a security clearance, which I doubt very seriously, and you still trust your government, youre a dolt. And you can say any insult you like, still doesnt change the fact that you obviously suck the dick dry of ignorance and the state.

  • @ragingteddybear1 And this has bearing in anything I stated here? No, all that means is I question shit. My question to you is how and why are you not one as well? You believe and trust the govt fully? If so, this proves youre blind and not an independent thinker.

If you think you burned me with that title, think again jackass. I wear it proudly.

You obviously proudly wear ignorance in the face of fact and truth. Sadly, Im sure you breed passing on your ignorance to children...

  • @ragingteddybear1 Funny how you comment on this video and condemn others for the very same and for asking questions.

Conspiracy theorist at least have one thing going for them, they seek answers. You however would rather call people names. Shows how ignorance is still strong...

  • Which is more likely - a rock or a Martian shed? If its a shed, its not been built very well - It's not squared off properly.

  • It's Michael Bay's other holiday home.

  • Its the monolith from 2001 A Space Odyssey that the monkeys danced around and made them create tools

  • cool rock maybe when i'm older i'll go to it

  • 2001 space odyssey!

  • that's where my jenga piece went

  • After watching that shape of the Mars moon. It occured to me that I need some sour cream and chives for my party this weekend. Thanks.

  • retard story

  • (Cue dramatic music in background) When the monolith lines up with the planets, the Stargate will then be unlocked and man will travel through it, on his way toward the next step in his evolutionary journey to become ruler of the Universe...

Ok, ok, that is a bunch of garbage. It's probably just a rock with no purpose or meaning.

  • at 5:12 it looks like ancient writings or symbols on front of it....and the whole thing looks more like a metal alloy of some kind,it doesn't look like a rock when up close to it....just throwing that out there...peace.

  • it looks Metallic in some areas of phobos...very strange looking....their is a picture of phobos on y-tube that shows a carved out 5 point-star,upside down of course,I don't see it in this photo...so the question is..what photo of phobos is real...my money is on ''this photo'' as being real...but who really knows...TRUTH is stranger than FICTION......PEACE OUT.

  • The only Port-A-Potty til you get to Mars, no rest stop for many miles.

  • MY monolith, Aliens didnt gave me that nickname for nothing...

They fly with those, atleast when i was paidvisit.. All saucers are bs : manmade. Since nazigermany flew 1st saucer 1939 norway and back to germany WOOHOO!

  • Gee Richard... All you had to say was SAGAN! Yeah AI MOON =DEATH STAR 2 EARTH!

  • PHOBOS = DEATH STAR!!!

  • Strange things on Vesta, my video :

    watch?v=pNz2KJXXcUs

  • "Phobos might not be natural.

It might actually be a very big, big, big space station. An artificial moon that has been placed in orbit by the marsians"

okay...uhm...that was possibly the most insane thing I have ever heard anyone say, ever, congratulations for being so open minded that your brain falls out.

  • @HaiDoggie lol.. "so open minded that your brain falls out".. awesome.

  • @HaiDoggie You're looking at it wrong. Not LITERALLY a space station, but perhaps a refueling post? A place to land and resupply? Maybe defensive positions could be put on it. It's just a rock, but do you know what you can DO with rocks? By god if we got one as big as Phobos I bet we could put stuff on it and tunnel inside! Madness!

Congratulations for being so close minded you may as well not have a brain.

  • I wish people would stop taking pictures of my house.

  • It's just a rock but that's not so interesting.

As for Mr Hoagland, well he has an impressive CV but he seems to talk ridiculously these days.

  • Lol the moon Phobos looks like a rock that Charlie Sheen would smoke. It's about the right size too for him to feel the effects.

  • the lol observatory

  • Yes i agree..it is a alien anal probe factory..theres alot of asshole here on earth.

  • it odviously had a major impact... could that have messed up its orbit?

  • rock

  • The side angle view makes me wonder if this is a pantheon, not a tower...

  • no we are the only intelligent life EVER and JESUS was a lily white, blond haired, blue eyed jew... you are a beautiful snowflake lmfaoo Quantum theory says ur already dead! Snooky knows the answers ask her!

  • its clearly an alien built anal probe manufacturing facility.

  • @Shofoxy That is the thing that i always have tried to figure out: Why is it that alien go to all the trouble of coming here on Earth only to abduct some alcoholic loser with mental problem on a back road and insert stuff in his asshole? I hope we don't ever go this stupid with our space program.

  • @nononsenseinrational Oddly enough, its not any yahoo who reports abduction, most are ex- police, military and security guards (mostly ex police and military again) in other words, people who have disrupted sleep patterns due to the odd hours they work. If you have a look on the net for something called 'sleep paralysis' that happens to people with disrupted sleep patterns and I think most so called abduction cases can be explained.

  • @Shofoxy Yeah but those are not those that claim to have had all the insertions! Being a truck driver i have to say that bad sleep can really mess you up. You can even get to the point of hallucinating, like dreaming awoken. Luckily, I can stop and sleep, the policeman have to make it trough is shift, tough luck. I have heard trucker on the radio saying jockingly they had to pull over to sleep because they are starting seeing "things". I myself don't give credit to those claims.

  • @nononsenseinrational Would you not abduct someone easily discredited as crazy if you were an alien species? I would. That way if I didn't want to be found out, no one would believe the insane guy who is always drunk if he made wild claims about me.

  • @jreed136 Then why not abduct mute people? I hope your not being serious.

  • @nononsenseinrational Because mute people are rare and circumstances probably have to be absolutely perfect? I am being serious. I don't discredit anything until I have a reason to.

Also you asked why they would stick a probe up their asses? Because from your ass(And your waste matter) hold tons and tons and tons and tons of information about you. Why do you think doctors take stool samples?

  • @jreed136 You are rationalizing a joke. Also you are defending the undefendable position (absolutely every point you made is speculation, is as no more weigth then your dreams). I do not give credit to anything until there is reason to. That is call critical thinking.

  • @nononsenseinrational These are just thoughts, genius. I'm not saying what I'm saying is ABSOLUTE. I'm speaking in... "Could be" not "is". Do you get it now?

Being completely dismissive of everything is just as bad as believing everything.

  • @jreed136 My initial comment was a joke refering to the credibility of many personnal accounts made on the topic. I also admit i do not know if there was alien visitation, but most account are not credible. you answer my question that was meant to be a joke with why question. I then ask you if you been serious and you say you are. I do not adopt a dismise aproach to valid evidence. I just do not beleive that your answers are valid because they are retorical and speculative but not factual.

  • @nononsenseinrational If it was a joke it's not my fault for being unable to interpret it as one - given that there's no real tone or indicator on the freakin' internet, man.

They are GUESSES. No shit, Sherlock. You've missed every point I've made. -_-

EVERY idea on this subject is speculative. There's no FACTS yet.

Theories, man. Theories. That's all they are. Do you get it now?

  • @jreed136 Sorry if I came across as jerk, but when you told me you were serious, I tough you were. Nothing but a misunderstanding. There still is a few fact, and science is working to find the aliens on their planets, not ours. The whole idea of visitation is not crazy in itself. Only the length to which people will go to defend it, a bit like religion. The main thing is to remain objective and wait for evidence. Also: hypothesis, not theories.

  • @nononsenseinrational And I only posted my *thoughts* because we just don't know. You don't know. I don't know. It could be -anything-. A joke? Do you know it's a joke? Stop making assumptions. That is not critical thinking.

  • @jreed136 I also say that i should know my comment is a joke, no assumption there. That you get so serious about stuff like that to go and defend it with assumption and than tell me to stop making assumption is intriging. Perhaps you like to beleive those people, but personnaly I do not think a testimony alone can back-up such a claim. I sincerely wonder about aliens, but so far the evidence for visitation is very weak. One day perhaps we will know. Soon hopefully.

  • Look at what Astronauts Gordon cooper and Buzz Aldrin have already admitted on World Media.=chasing formations of disc alien spacecraft in Air Force, etc. And Viking perfectly clear photos of mile high hill that pentagon suddenly says is flat, then depression, then rocks ,etc=PROOF.-humanbeingization.

  • Mars Aliens are REAL= PROOF=Just THINK,why did nasa change mars face photos 10 times?-from hill, to flat, ,etc,= to COVER UP, LOOK at our planet, covered with Giant pyramids everywhere to honor the Gods, because POWERFULL BEINGS SHOWED UP!=For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory, forever and ever,AMEN!!"=Amen, the King of the Egyptian Gods.

  • @humanbeingization because people kept figuring out they were fake? /watch?v=45aeUdq9Zj0

  • The interviewer is on Ancient Aliens. Very crazy show, with no evidence, but crazy ideas thrown out there.

  • Rather straight lines considering the moonscape of indentations from collisions with other debris, only the ignorant Status Quo would scoff and say it's a "rock". Carl Sagan opened my mind to such things via his series "COSMOS" in the early 80s when I was a kid and I had a copy of his book "Intelligent Life in Outer Space". Don't scoff and say "no it can't be". Ask yourself why is the issue so contentious? FOCUS, FIND OUT, WAKE UP !!!

  • its just that black slab from 2001:space oddisy

  • The probability of a rock in this perfect shape is minimun.

  • You HOPE it's just a ROCK!!!

  • its a pilon of the protoss!

  • Big rock. Big deal.

  • Richie is a man that watched too much star trek.....

  • Can anyone explain to me what a Monolith is, like what purpose it has?

  • @asdfGeist

In this case it simply means an object (which could be simply a rock) projecting up from the surface in a manner inconsistent with the theories which attempt to explain how this moon was formed. If this object also has smooth sides it becomes even more difficult to explain as a natural phenomena.

The use of the word 'monolith' to describe tall artificial appearing rocks came into vogue after one was featured in '2001' a space odyessy'.

  • I think that's where 2001 was filmed. How they got monkeys there, I'll never know. Shame they painted the monolith black though. Let's hope somebody can give a naturalistic explanation for its existence. The idea of intelligent ET's is a bit spooky.

  • It's also possible that it is just a sharp protruding rock. Not that I don't believe it's possible in life else where but I don't think ppl should jump the gun and solely believe that it's monolith or ship.

  • well.. a monolith is a bit different than that icesberg!

  • its the tardus

  • @doconi809 Very sharp wit !!! luv it,hahahahaheehee

  • @doconi809 *facepalm*

  • @doconi809 you're a retardus!

  • The commentary on this was done by complete retard devoid of actual knowledge. A satellite coming closer to it's planet would be decelerating, not accelerating, accelerating would cause it to take a wider orbit, not cause it's orbit to degrade.

  • @GG4S3xTo Consider that low earth orbit satellites move quickly compared with those farther out in geosynchronous orbits, hours plus a bit vs. a day, which allows them to remain in the same location vis-a-vis the surface. The moon, farther out, orbit in a little under a month. Similarly with the planets: earth = 1 year @ 93 million; Pluto = 248 years at billions of miles. Read up on the inverse square law and consider its impact on gravitational attraction--far vs. near.

  • @markbpeterson1 Little dose of high school physics might help you out here. How fast an object has to move to maintain orbit has nothing to do with the fact that you accelerate and object with a vector past parrallel and it's orbit increases...it doesn't matter if it's Pluto or a tea pot around mars. This is the problem with these pseudo science idiots, they half paid attention in 3rd grade science and all think they're Albert Einstein now.

  • @GG4S3xTo hmmm, i see what your say but im not so sure it works the same with gravity. Think maybe of water running down a plug hole. it spins faster as it gets closer to the center... let me know if this helps or if you think my theory is flawed. cheers

  • @gothepus You're using nonscientific words to understand the concept is your problem. It doesn't spin faster, it simply has a smaller circumference to circumnavigate. Acceleration and deceleration are independent of orbital time. Just because something orbits in less time, doesn't necessarily mean it's changed speed if it has reduced the altitude of it's orbit. They're completely independent concepts, which is why the people in this video sound stupid. Because they are.

  • space and hoagland = spaced out ...! can we handle the truth ? i guess we can but believeing most of Hoaglands'"truth "are just a bit too out of this world ;7) ...for me !

  • RAILGUN U SAY ITS A ROCK ? HOW WAS IT FORMED? ROCKS ARE NEVER SEMETICAL UNLESS THEYVE BEEN MADE THAT WAY SAY BY WATER BLA BLA CANT BE ASSED TODAY LOL

  • BUZZ ALDRIN SAID ITS A MONOLITH

  • Yes. It's a rock. It's a unusually tall, narrow, and incredibly massive rock. Sitting on a surface that shows no other rocks anywhere. It's worth a 2nd look.. all im sayin'.

  • @tisdue What humans use as camouflage? nets, paints, making stuff look from "FAR" aka kilometers away ROCK or similar (in military example we made tents looklike rock or rock with crap over it) ETC!

Damn here all superbrains whos brains havent yet even been activated says its a rock, i rather say its a battlestation camouflaged or abandoned looklike ROCK! or maybe its even MOTHERSHIP ;O and theres only 1 shuttle left ready to launch.. They fly with arrowlike crafts, maybe its same i saw? 1996..

  • @88Phobos You make very good points..not only seeing how super intelligence beings would use a camouflage Rock, but also how some people can't fathom in their minds how an advanced civilization would be so far ahead of us,they wouldn't believe it,if they saw it...I find that, the majority of people who can,and do believe in such technology and use their imagination, are ''Artist's'',some scientist and ''Author's'',everyone else is a zombie..they ground the shuttles cause they have better ships,

  • nonsence lol monolith my ass

  • who the hell is hoagland? and what is wrong with him?

  • its very hard to tell if its not a natural object..

  • hoagland sux!

  • i dnt knw abt other stuffs but those who think richard is a fool regarding calling phobos a paceship are arses in hell..do ur own research, have a close look at phobos pictures n decide youself..

  • The aliens lost their safe containing blueprints for a death star. Nothing to worry about...

  • We can't look at a galaxy 300 million light years away in perfect detail. We can't even look at the surface of the moon in perfect detail from earth.

  • LOL'd at Uploader description "Personally i think its a rock"

No you cannot have a rock that is a Square shape, Unless someone carved it

  • Never say never.... We have just begun to know the marvels of the Universe...We have just scratched the surface...

  • hoagland is an ass who sees alien artifacts in pubic hair.

  • It looks odd; we should definately go check it out!

  • wasnt phobos where the first doom took place?

  • In Soviet Russia, Phobos comes to monolith.

  • @Dogtags8508 The watchers, igigian space station perhaps?

  • Comment removed

  • Sugar cube for a very big cup of coffee.

  • Phobos looks like a close up of a Rice Bubble.

  • @BlackRainClothing we can!!

  • holy shit, its a Death star

  • Carl Sagan would never agree to Phobos being an artificial moon created by so called martians, he was a respected man that relied on evidence.

Not a kook with a nutty theory.

  • either you hate or love Hogland. Personally I'm always thrilled and amused with his views. We don't have to believe them. Nevertheless they are very intertaining. :))

  • Comment removed

  • @eggyolki0 those "jokes" about Chuck Norris are becoming a little bit borring, don't you think?

  • get a rover on the moon, drive to this monolith and get some proper pictures. easy

  • @MephedroneMonster They probably have some better pictures than these but none the public would ever get to see, at least not for a long time.

  • As soon as he started talking about orbital elements I knew this guy had no idea what he was talking about. Synched-up with Mars rotation? It takes 24 hours to go around Mars? Mars Express Orbital period = 6 h 43 m. Mars Rotational Period = 24 h 37 m. Not even close to synched-up.

  • Hoagland wasn't a hot shot scientist like some claim he was.He was a consultant and writer.I get so sick of people who make this guy out to be some scientist which he is not -nor has he ever been.He makes outlandish claims and speculation with no scientific backing. He has made himself very wealthy by doing so.

  • ok, if we can look at a galaxy 300 million light years in perfect detail, why can't we get super HD photos of things in our own solar system or neighboring planets?

  • @BlackRainClothing

the same reason you can't see footprints on the moon you'd need a really really strong gravity telescope or zero atmosphere

  • @BlackRainClothing Its the size and perspective we are looking at plus resolution. We may be able to look at a Galaxy that far away but keep in mind that galaxy maybe several hundred thousand light years across vs Mars for example which is a hell of a lot smaller. That was a good question though for those who aren't familiar with astronomy.

  • @royalspin - Isn't there a better chance they have looked at this in HD but they just don't release the photos? Same with our moon? Thanks for your response that helped me think differently about space photography.

  • @BlackRainClothing they do have a much greater and advanced systems for image capturing and other elements with much greater and higher definition than today's stuff on sale in shops, but THEY DON'T want YOU know about it. If they made it public the elites' power and control will end for them, and they won't allow it what ever it takes.... even bloodshed, murder, etc

  • @BlackRainClothing DITTO !!!! I have been asking this question for so long and no one can answer it!

  • @brrag peraphs you can write but maybe you can't read!

  • @BlackRainClothing Galaxies 300 million light years away aren't seen in 'perfect' detail; only their gross features are visible: spiral arms, the nuclear bulge, large emission nebulae. If your trigonometry is fresh, calculate the angle subtended by an object the size of the monolith as viewed from a major observatory on earth. If such a thing could be resolved by current technology, there would be no need to invest in bigger telescopes on the ground and in space.

  • @BlackRainClothing because this moon is 20 km where a Galaxy is several million light years across. A galaxy douse not move very much in the sky compared to this small moon that moves very fast. The only way to get good HD shots of it is to actually go right up too it.

  • @BlackRainClothing - I agree!

  • @BlackRainClothing If you can use binoculars to watch objects hundreds of meters away, why can't you use it as a microscope for objects directly in front of you?

  • @BlackRainClothing we can. they just dont release those photos.

  • @BlackRainClothing because the us government does not want you to hear, to them all knowledge is evil. A ignorant populace is a controllable populace.

  • @BlackRainClothing

NASA has gathered tons of evidence of encounters or sightings of UFO's. It is not safe for the public to know about this material. Russia and the US have made agreements to not speak of this evidence, look into it....

  • @BlackRainClothing movement

  • Who knows but it dont look natural

  • That's no rock my friends...

  • Oooooo let's all show our paranormal prowess by hating Hoagland! get over it, there's some worth in what the guy says at least he brings these theories to the mainstream!

  • @kevkongable Good point -but I would say its fair to question his record and look at how many he got wrong and what his actual credentials are and not what some others have made up.He isn't a scientist like some have said of him.Which is an important point to make when he is dishing it out to the scientific community.I find him entertaining at the least and somewhat on target some of the time. Not a great batting average all in all though.

  • big big rock me thinks :)

  • looks like an astroid chillin, probably pretty rare for one that size to stay on the surface like that, or maybe its recent and hit the moon square enough as to not stray.

  • Whenever I hear the name Richard Hoagland, I immediately tune out and not listen and go to some other video

  • @gyromancy2 Ahh yes Mr Hoagland....the boy who cried wolf once too many times. Hes become a self serving tuft hunter. Once upon a time in a galaxy ect ect...I used to listen to his very early stuff and thought it intriguing...now days....MEH.... : )

  • @railgunn67 -- Buzz Aldrin speaks of this monolith as well.

  • @railgunn67 Hoagland mixes a tiny amount truth with an amazing array of self-serving hogwash and then maintains focus until his fringe group tires before moving on to the next tidbit he can exploit. The 'monolith' is interesting but no more peculiar than myriad unexplained features on other moons in the solar system. A dense shard of whatever impacting head-on might appear this way.

  • @railgunn67

Moved a bit too far outside your safety zone I guess

  • Respond to this video...

An unusual shaped object with smooth sides projecting up from a relatively smooth plain with no logical geological explanation for its existence. Obviously a simple common rock. What's the fuss?

  • @gyromancy2 yes I do the exact same thing, Hoagland, and ummm Cliff Stone, and Robert Dean, they're all retarded liars trying to make a buck. that's it. that's all.

  • @gyromancy2 @gyromancy2 yes I do the exact same thing, Hoagland, and ummm Cliff Stone, and Robert Dean, they're all retarded liars trying to make a buck. that's it. that's all. oh and Steven Greer, he's an ass

  • rock or a fallen satellite.

  • @chessman21 Ill vote for rock

  • @railgunn67 NATURE = NO STRAIGHT LINES

  • @railgunn67 Yeah with a freaking monolith!

  • @railgunn67 hahaha humans.....

  • Wow, fantastic, thumbs up !!!

  • LOVE THESE COST TO COST SHOWS AND RICHARD HOGLAND. ALSO look up 1991VG, alien probe, due to hit earth 21-11-2036. confirm it on NASA offical site, 1991VG. phobos is fake. as is OUR moon.

THATS interesting. looks like the dirt around these monolith has been moved as if its been DUG out. ACE!!!!
