Yeah, we used to go through the biggest canisters of Aquanet Extra Super Hold. The size of the aerosol can she had was huge, mega huge. Enough to do two people's hair. LOL!
You can't get that sort of thing anymore because CFC bans. Which is good. We didn't do much good for the ozone layer.

@mekangus Oh no no no, Robert Smith's hair was ratty in 1982 during the Pornography stage of his career. Go to the pictures of you fansite and click on photos, then click on where it says 1982 and it'll show you.
@ajittffcure it and other groups/scenes lead to it but not long after. Goth was full-blown by 85 and drew from the Cure, psych revival (Dr & the Medics!), neo-Prog (Twelth Night/IQ), the Damned and new teen horror movies. Notice how many were Marquee groups...
