Dont you get it, to be an irish man living in a political state governed by british rule is what people kill and die for! Giving, there may be some who support this kind of violence, but all the parties elected to govern Northern Ireland have condemned these attacks and said violence is not the answer.
We can not change the past i dont seek to justify the actions of Britain in the past but it certainly isnt the only side guilty of causing suffering. The only way to bring about a united Ireland is through politics. If the majority elect republican parties then that would give a political mandate for a referendum

The British government has made it very clear, if the people of Northern Ireland want a united ireland then they can have it. If elections show there is a clear majority voting for republican parties then a referendum will have to be held at some stage. and yes if the majority vote for a united Ireland. then it will have to happen.

British troops are in aghanistan because on 9/11 terrorists killed 3000 people including 67 British citizens. When they did that and the afghan ruling power (taliban) didnt hand over bin laden we invaded and helped bring about democracy. (backed by the United Nations)

The British troops are garrisoned all around our country and whilst northern ireland remains part of the UK, that includes bases there. They are British troops, they have to have bases somewhere in the country.
Its not like British troops patrol the streets again in Northern Ireland. and the same type of killers that killed those soldiers were the ones who killed the police officer yesterday. Theres no justification at all and it has simply set back the republican cause.

Hope this doesnt kick off in N.Ireland again, would be a pity because its doing so well at the mo and there was over 12 years without an attack similar to this. ah well over all consensus both North and South is for these guys to get caught and the peace process not to be disrupted and hopefully it wont ,I dont agree with those soldiers being up North as Ireland is my country but no way do I take any satisfaction at a 22-23 year old being so senselessly murdered like that.
