Spot on. I love this vid. Tel Aviv is nice. I like it. But stop the propaganda people. Our city is dirtier and more dilapidated than most European cities. Jews love it, because they love anything Israeli, but it can in no way be compared to London, Berlin, Tokyo or North American metropoles. Firstly it is far smaller, secondly it lacks basic infrastructure and amenities, thirdly it is more expensive. The vibe is bs, too. It really isn't as happening as the propagandists would have you believe.

I rented a shit apartment on Ben Yahuda street in Tel Aviv for 2 months. It wasn't that expensive but it was a dump and there was actually a club in the basement of the building. lol

I lived in different parts of Israel, I visited most of Europe and the major cities in US, and I am currently on a project in Los Angeles. Although Tel Aviv is RIDICULOUSLY expensive, I don't think that it is supposed to be measured by cleanness or standards of any other city. It is Unique - there is NO other place like it, and obviously it pleases some and discomforts others........but if you love it you will give an arm and leg to live there.

There's nothing like TA indeed. Those who don't like it just don't understand the spirit of the city.. Just like some people hate NY... Can't understand them. TA may not be the most beautiful or cleanest city, but if you know where to go and give yourself some time to "absorb" it - you'll never regret the visit..

I've been there 2 times already and plan to go next summer as well. Israel in general and TA in particular is a great place for a summer vacation. mixture of modern life with thousands of historic places to see.
