  • lawl, black bull has found karma.

  • LOL, awesome. I forgot to watch it the other day...

  • That was awesome! Nice stuff there. 5/5

  • AHAHAHAHAH i love this vid, great, lol verrry nice, nice job man. I agree with Ergeniz, i guess that the reason 'cause everyone falls of the track there when playing it at first is the controller's sensibility, when you play a lot and get used this track becomes a piece of cake. At least until you try to get advanced with those freakin' shift boosts @_@

  • ooohh, tell me more about these shift boosts.

  • Uhm, let's start from this, have you noticed that the staff ghost on Lateral Shift suddenly goes ahead as if he gained instant speed? Or on Undulation while going up the hills you may get a speed boost out of nowhere? Those are shift boosts. Basically your car lifts off the track for a split second and gains insane speeds. To trigger them there are fixed "spots" on the tracks which need particular angling or speed to being triggered, or in courses like this

  • you can go out of track on purpose to trigger them (and then re-land) so you can do the all the way 'till the third lap and keep an amazing >3000 speed ALL THE TIME! Amazing to see (check the WR by Iowa, insane).

Obviously that's DAMN HARD, on lateral shift is way easier, you just drop off the track on those corners and press the trigger to land on your side.

on mrfixitonline-dot-com there's the f-zero community and ladders, and other info on techs like this, check momentum throttle!!!

  • Oh holy crap! Awesome! Thank you. I actually just found Mr. Fixit a few minutes ago by googling "F-Zero GX advanced techniques". I also noticed the shift boosts on the Lateral Shift video in your playlist without knowing what it was and found it quite odd. Pretty neat.

Oh, yeah, and I only have a few ghosts unlocked so far. :-(

  • Don't worry, most staff ghost are really hard to beat if you play "fair", lol (some of them also don't play "fair" like the lateral shift one) and the easy ones are mostly on crappy tracks =( and anyway i still can't beat the last staff ghost on max speed settings. i also didn't beat cylinder knot's one on max speed settings but i feel like i can do it.

  • @oxxMihawKxxo When i first got this track it wasnt the controller sensibility but the nerve racking fact that theres no railing or anything to stop you from falling at first. but then after awhile it DID become a piece of cake (literally)

  • Good stuff. I hate to admit it, but when I first unlocked the this course years ago, I fell off, several times. I was quite embarrassed because the track is so linear. Even if it was a while ago I still get this slightly serious feeling whenever I take it on because I know I'll beat myself up if I were to ever fall off again. :p

Excellent comeback. I look forward to more of your vids. Also, I plan to start on some projects for this game in awhile, but I'm concentrating on fighters atm.

  • Yeah, me too about the falling thing. I always take the right fork. I think that the first green one is the one that I used to always die on. It twists one way then blindly twists back.
