I tried as a teen to turn on all of my friends to this "party" album. All they wanted was Poison-type party songs and considered this a boring album. Of course it helped that I was a guitar player and lyric writer. So much powder engulfed to their whole Fish-era of music. Saw them open for Rush once too. WOW!

I'm grateful, it could have been far worse, I'm sitting here now.. Clutching at Straws is a masterpiece, together with their first 2 albums. It's a golden prog-rock trilogy, more than just neo-prog at its best.

And I would add B-Side Themselves to the list, because it has a bunch of little gems. Long live Marillion. Fish is one of my personal heroes.
