Grow up. Do u think the freedoms that u have were free. Have u ever thought about what the world would have been like if we had lost this war. We didn't start it. Do u think we should be ashamed for winning it. Leave they won you still haqve that right . You should thank them as u leave.
U.S funded and helped hitlers party to win.. And world would be better without robbing raider USMC's... Never after ww2 attacked any realtarget some iraqstyle targetpractice craptroops and still uber casualties. And japan you had to nuke to win... hmmm real heeeroes.
Yes, at great cost we won the war and protected the god given right of insightful individuals like "ManDudeYeah" to express their valued opinions to the world on the internet. Some victory.

These people are not heroes, we simply live in a world where the most powerful wins, it so happens the United States was that imperial power. That's it.... freedom, democracy, and all that bull shit is very unrealistic.
Uh, sure, and since Ecuador sat out WW2 for the most part, what would someone from your country know about "hero's" or sacrifice, or duty, or honor ? All due respect chum, you have no clue.
@akeffo Your truth ? If not for USA we'd all be speaking Russian or German. Vietnam ? Look what Comunists did to that nation. If not for Americans Russians would take over not half but whole Europe and than go further west. Chinese in the meantime would go east. Communists killed more people than anybody else (Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot...). I know something about it I lived behind Iron Curtain.
@akeffo Again, they don't need as much Arab oil (look up statistics), as the rest of the world (mainly Japan, S. Korea, Europe etc.). But "the world" has no balls to do anything to secure its supply. But when the "worlds" economy f... ups so is American. That's my view. Yes, I am aware that your view is the most popular one. Going back to WW I and II US was to slow to respond and now they are not waiting for too long (for better or for worse).
@akeffo Of coarse there was, but we were bombed by Japan because we cut oil and rubber and other raw materials off from them after they invaded China. They wanted raw materials that they could take from the Philipines and other parts of the Pacific so they tried to remove us from the Pacific. Also Germany invaded Russia earlier than they wanted because Russia moved troops up to the Rumanian border. Rumania supplied Ger. with oil.
really great obscure filmage mate! Ive never seen any of it on aussie tv and we have alot of war documantaries here. I can only assume it was a private collection, if so thank you so much for the great vision.
They were your forefathers people. Many never returned from those foreign battlefields of air, land and sea. Say a prayer for them, because of them you are now where you are in FREEDOM. God Bless them all.
I would advice anyone interested in colour footage from WW2 to seek Kodachrome pictures from that time. The colours look incredibly natural, and the photos look like they were taken yesterday, not 70 years ago... Kodachrome is still used for developing film photographs ( with a few changes to the proccess of course to make it simpler and quicker )
At 1:55, 1:58 and 2:50 are a few fleeting glimpses of Studebaker M29 Weasels. Although brief, this is the only time I have seen this vehicle under combat conditions in either the ETO or PTO in original WW2 colour. Thanks for this, it really is an excellent and rare piece of footage!

@ThePackers123 By the way I've read more history than you ever have. I know enough not to join a confused right wing movement.
