You made a dumb comment that insulted Prodigy without even knowing it. Now you can't admit it? I guess that's what you can expect from a YouTube troll.
@BeverlyHills2ndGen they dont cover songs, they Sample from songs, huge difference! Prodigy are amazing at sampling other peoples music legally! 4 bar loop is the most you can sample from a song without getting in trouble legally!
@tobaccoflavouredrink@ELCNUmorFnaMehT See the original song by Shocking Blue (Love Buzz) in... 1969 ! and you'll see why whe prodigy fans hate this album : Prodigy add nothing to the song, and Always outnumbered was a complete lack of inspiration
This song has the unique ability to piss off fans of Nirvana who in turn piss off fans of Shocking Blue. aaah, to be easily offended by bands who sample/cover songs one pretentiously labels "classic". :P
my entire life starting from when i was about 13, was based around prodigy, and this here is by far one of the greatest albums ever to have been made in this universe
love buzz is one of the album tracks of At Home, 1969. it was shocking blue's first album with Mariska on front. It also contains the worldhit Venus. Chris of Nirvana was fan of this album and recorded love buzz in the late 80's on there first album bleach. Then prodigy took it , In my opinion always outnumbered album is not so good i just like spitfire its awesome track but most tracks of this album are bad :(
nope this sux, sound's like dubstep, prodigy can do much better. Just because you're the minority and love the song doesn't mean everyone else has to, there is a reason we prefer Prodigy's older tunes.
I think Howlett loves Nirvana, he took a sample of "Very Ape" for "Voodoo People" and here, there's a sample of "Love Buzz", by Shocking Blue, a song which was played by Nirvana too.
@MolkoxLewd Oh you know this? You were there? You actively read their minds? Are you an expert in astral projection? This is the only way it could be soo obvious that that is what they meant! oh please excuse me for not knowing the obvious!
If you're a die hard Prodigy fan or are just into heavy bass and breaks with big euphoric drops be sure to stop by our channel! We'll even sort you out a free track if you leave us feedback ;)
@mattagate01 really, they didn't? i wanted to visit the concert in berlin (end of novemer 09), but i couldn't. and the main reason were the songs from this album! and i like them from their first chart breaker "out of space" yeaaah *lol*
yeh i was so annoyed, they didnt even play spitfire...which everyone knows is a good song off that album :P they played most off invaders must die and some classics like jericho and out of space, and comanche i think they played!
it was a leftfield album from liam when he did a (solo) album.people reacted differently to it as it was so different and everyone was waiting for the next fat of the land.personally its not my fave prodigy album but i saw them promote the album live at the b'ham carling academy in dec 04.let me tell you man, these tracks nearly took the roof clear off - especially spitfire and wake up call
@DoesNotInhale Invaders must die is a great album, but it´s more heavier, more "hardcore", so you probably dont like heavier´, more industrial-like music. This album is more " experimental", it doesnt have songs with great impact. It´s not a bad album, it just doesnt have enough "relevant" songs´, like their other albuns do.
I don't understand why Prodigy they changed the name of the song to "Phoenix". Seriously, this is really just a REMIX of Shocking Blues song, "Love Buzz". By changing the name of it, it's like Prodigy is trying to say it's one of their original tunes.. I'm just not cool with that. Give credit when credit is due guys.
Shocking Blue needs more credit than Kurt. Mariska sang it first. Prodigy and Kurt ripped it from her. Prodigy rocks my socks right off, though. *sigh* They turned it into something better, but only because they had her inspiration...
@allismind i agree its an awesome song. im not sure which i like better, the original love buzz by shocking blue or by nirvana, hmm.. my fave is probably nirvana's because i like the heavier stuff.
I have to agree with the original commenter, Im really not digging this song. Seems to just be some bitch repeating "cant you hear my love" or somtin a bunch of times. not badass OR catchy : /

Every one who says this song is a Nirvana cover needs to do his homework!
Love Buzz was original performed by Shocking Blue, a dutch rock band, and was later covered by Nirvana. The shocking blue version was used by Prodigy

Hello, I think I know the answer to your question:
Mariska Veres from the Shocking Blue
is singing here (specially known from "Venus").
Original recording "Love Buzz" in 1969.

The only thing thing that ruins this song for me is when the female vocalists whispers lalalala.
