  • Thanks for comments. In fact, the next major release of ThickButtons will work well for people who type fast. We created the product for people who type slowly and suffer from numerous typing mistakes. But the next release will work well for fast fingers as well. You will be amazed - stay tuned!

  • T9 with keyboard modification ..

  • Don't like it. Not good if you're handy with QWERTY and type without looking at your fingers.

  • this should rely on statistics, not on dictionary

  • good! but i need the italian language!!

  • Good idea but the problem with this implementation is that the letters change position. This is both visually distracting and lessens the user's ability to predict where their next touch is.

All they need to do is somehow change the hit space or target area while leaving the letters in the same position, like ProjectEndgame pointed out. Or at least animate the buttons as they change so it's easier for the eye to keep track of!

  • waiting for french language.

  • iPhone essentially does this, but without enlarging the actual physical keys, just the touch zones.

  • That's interesting, but I wonder how? Does it anticipate the letters like in this demonstration? (I don't have an iPhone)

  • If u go to transcribe audio, it subtitles thick as Dick ahhah that a fail

  • nice app!!!! but we need the italian language!!
