I'm not saying that this game is bad, but it does seem like it would get boring due to repetition.

@harryst999 I understand the point you are making, but cod can take brains. I play cod competitively and I can tell you that takes way more brains than ME, tactics, strats, learing where enemies will spawn in certain circumstances etc etc.

No skill is required at all during objective based matches, the only thing people ever do when playing CoD is camp the objective and call in killstreaks on top of it. Please don't deny it, it's a well known fact. Learning where enemies spawn is a pussy move since you can kill someone way before they have a chance to fight back. 1/2

But the game got over 140 game of the year awards, it scored a 96 on metacritic, 9.6 from IGN and over 100 perfect reviews such as 10/10 from the official xbox magazine. Facebook games are fun for about 10 seconds.

Played through ps3 demo 6 times. I wanted to love this game but can't. The Shepard character is rooted to the ground with limited ability to climb or jump. I am spoiled by Uncharted.
Another annoyance is the uneven lighting. Some areas are too dark or too contrasty. I've never seen such bad lighting in a game. One area will look great and the next horrible. If I brighten the screen then everything looks pink and washed out. Other games don’t have this problem.

Imo it's the best RPG this gen and probably one of the best games of this gen overall, but that's just my opinion.

before i could decide to buy bioshock 2 or this game.... im glad i picked bioshock 2, in mass effect 2 they talk, A LOT.... i kno its all about story n stuff, but this game should have more action, but thats just my opinion

Played through ps3 demo 6 times. I wanted to love this game but can't. The Shepard character is rooted to the ground with limited ability to climb or jump. I am spoiled by Uncharted.
Another annoyance is the uneven lighting. Some areas are too dark or too contrasty. I've never seen such bad lighting in a game. One area will look great and the next horrible. If I brighten the screen then everything looks pink and washed out. Other games don’t have this problem.

@Entropy56 DON'T TROLL. Mass Effect 2 is a brilliant game and one of the best this generation. Its a lot longer than uncharted and is one of the best looking games ever. Bad lighting? Really? Maybe on the PS3... On the 360 (its original debut), the lighting is superb, character models look great and everything is perfect.

I completely disagree with him and think this game has awesome gameplay & amazing graphics, especially on the PS3, but I wouldn't shove my opinion down his throat and accuse him of trolling. Your are comparing a demo, which has problems that are currently being addressed and won't be there in the initial release, to uncharted which is another genre. You can like uncharted but don't blame mass effect being lame for not being the same way. There are different types of games for a reason. You sound like someone that's hard to please.

@Entropy56 The game looks more much more polished on an amazing gaming rig, the textures still look mediocre though. The game is much more fun if you treat it as it is (A third person shooter/RPG hybrid) rather than compare it to the likes of uncharted (Which is purely an action TPS)
Imo it's the best RPG this gen and probably one of the best games of this gen overall, but that's just my opinion.
