my god, i dont know how any1 can say that the killers r bad live!!! i saw them last summer, n brandon wasnt one note off, of course the songs werent exactly as the versions on their albums, he sometimes improvises in certain parts, which to me adds to the spontinaity and magic that makes a killers show. the guy who says he cant listen to their live performances has clearly only seen crap quality youtube versions, if u wanna truly appreciate the killers, see em live! FUCKING IMMENSE!

is it just me or does this song sound better with all the make up, on the album and not live?

it's like everything fucks up when they play live. the same thing happened with coldplay and some other bands i cant quite remember.

it's MUCH more difficult to preform live.You can't tell when you voice may crack or your sweaty fingers slip on a string...not to mention who knows HOW many songs he had sung before this one....even for a professional singer such as him, its very difficult to keep your breathing properly controlled for an hour or so.

you have to keep the variables in mind.

i've listened to a few other killers concerts (live on tv and on utube) and they didn't sound much different to the way they sound on this clip.

but i just think that if you cant sing live then you need to do a lot of work.

dont get me wrong, i love the killers but i just cant listen to their live preformances.

at the fort. lauderdale show brandon wore matching shoes and bowtie like to his sparkling red keyboard... looked like he wanted to join dorathy and shout "theres no place like home"...
