Santigold used to be in a "skapoppunk " band called stiffed; they have an ep called sex sells and a cd called burned again.

burned again has a song on it, called "your voice". maybe it's this song, although the samples i've heard on it gives a more rapid version. or maybe it's a complete different version, (listened to it once)... the cd and ep are on amazon, your voice by stiffed is on youtube.. also check out " a day with andrew" and "run" :)
