Lions got a big chance to survive alone. But since the the female bring birth to 5-10 cubs. And they live together the whole life they never seperate. Thats why they hunt as a pack. A full grown aplha male can get to 800+ pounds they are one of the strongest cats. A lion alone can kill wilderbeasts, zeebras, gazeels and hyeenas and many more animals in africa.

I work with both of these animals at World Animal Studios and we have a full grown male lion living with 4 full grown tigers 2 white female bangels and 2 full grown male sibarians and when we feed them the tigers wait till he is full b/c he would kill them and they know it we have had to spray him down with a fire hose countless times to try and stop him from attacking the tigers but other then that they get along great
