The Masamune in W.O.2 Is much better. He's got a move that uses pistols to stun if enemies are blocking. Yukimura Sanada wields a halberd a has incredible speed too.

Actually SB is based off of Devil May Cry interms of gameplay(flashy and stylistic combos and combo canceling to name a few) and design(Alastor, Mitsunari's fighting style based off of Vergil's, and Date's Engrish is remeniscent to Dante's one liners) the best way to describe Sengoku is DMC meets Musou.
