Super Shaker Supercharger

Kk so do you actually need an supercharger or anything done to the engine to make a supercharger actually work?? i really dont get it...

they should slightly cowl the hood, like bump it up, not as much as the 03-04 mach1's but enough to hide the plastic base

Shaker is just an air intake scoop. But instead of being solid mounted to the hood it's mounted to the engine and sticks though the hood. So when you rev the engine you can see it rock (shake) with the engine. Same as a scoop just looks cooler.
