  • "he's just a showboat man, thats all he's about"

  • Vince Vaugh's O'Hare seemed to be created as the "anti-Rudy." In other words, an exceptionally talented player without heart. Actually, the way the movie portrayed the last score, the Georgia Tech coach could have complained that Notre Dame was running up the score.

  • He's so skinny!

  • RUDY = FICTION! Here is a fact for ND: USC 31 to 17 two weeks ago!

  • yeah and he was nice and think. He got fat.

  • LOL that is him.

  • Is it me, or is that Aaron Eckhart who plays the ND quarterback?

  • USC is undefeated after week two and the DOMER's are winless.

  • @greymoose1000 at least the Irish don't have to pay their players with fancy shit to help them win...

  • @greymoose1000 And now the Domers are 3-2 while U$C is fresh off an anal rapage courtesy of Arizona State, so go suck a dick bitch

  • @thndrct218 USC defeated Arizona last night and now stands at 4-1 for the season. THE DOMERS once again defeated some shitty Purdue team that could not beat it's way out of a wet paper bag. Kelly = Murderer of young Declan. RUDY = FICTION! Fight ON USC BABY!

  • yes i did. and the real Rudy was in the final scene- Rudy's dad grabs him when the sack happens

  • @irishfan84 RUDY = Fiction and ND = Zero wins and two losses after week two. Congratulations to the DOMER's from the MOOSE of USC who is undefeated after week number two.

  • @irishfan84 THE DOMER's have yet to win while the USC TROJANS are undefeated and once again the best team in the land.

  • @imanicekid1 They did score a late TD that put the defense back on the field and enabled Rudy to get in the game, but they didn't score for the specific purpose of getting Rudy a chance to play.

  • Haha I always laugh at the face coach Devine makes @3:51 haha XD

  • yes i did..

  • I always laugh hysterically at the little situation that starts at 0:45. Actually Vince Vaughn's rant of anger at Rudy at 1:05 is hilarious.

  • Hey the real "Rudy" is sittin behind the father at 3:05 he's the one in the black coat in the first row behind the father

  • Ya USC is perfect model program. Go Irish!

  • @ericfenstermaker FICTIONAL ACCOUNT!

  • Some more fiction from the murderers at DOMER land. Fight ON USC BABY!!!

  • wheres Dan Knot

  • lol at the title of this

  • I REALLY HATE NOTRE DAME --- but I always cry when I watch this movie.......pure inspiration

  • @Hunkola This movie is just down right great. I'm with ya on that, very inspirational film. Hell it makes me wanna walk on somewhere at 30 years old and play.

  • @imanicekid1 The actually did score with about 28 seconds left in the real game back in 1975. It wasn't so Rudy could play, but they were up 21-3. So I don't know why they didn't just take a knee. It also wasn't that far of a play. The play started around the 7 yard line.

  • 44+1=Rudy!

  • @imanicekid1 ya they did only in real life they were down closer to the goal line and then they scored so he could come out and play

  • i dont feel like looking it up but the coach looks like Billy bob thorton

and vince vaughn is always the ass hole

  • 1:50. Those two coaches are in grave danger.

  • What the hell is he doing???

  • "It's the last practice of the season, and this ASSHOLE thinks it's the Super Bowl."

Sums up Rudy during the whole movie. I love it.

  • @imanicekid1 The movie wasn't THAT exaggerated. The team had to score to get the D out for the last couple of plays. Rudy had done an interview for Notre Dame's student paper, basically saying he WANTED to play. Most of the team and some of the fans had read it and started the chant for him to play. IDK if the play was called differently, but the score and the play in the movie is basically the same as real life.

  • was jamie ohara an actual player or did they just make a fictional role to portray another rudy hater?

  • @nucoble14 Fictional.

  • @imanicekid1 watch the documentary.

  • he got fat

  • @imanicekid1 actually if you watch the original footage notre dame does score with like 30 some seconds left. when they didn't have to.

  • actually if you watch the original footage notre dame does score with like 30 some seconds left. when they didn't have to.@imanicekid1

  • Aw you cut it off at one of the best parts...

  • @imanicekid1 They actually scored on a 2 yard option pitch play, not nearly as epic as the movie.

  • Vince Vaughn is a pur athlete. Pause it at 0:48 second mark... who carries the ball like that and that is one hell of a stiff arm hahaha

  • looooooooooool

  • who cares if is a yard pitch or long pass, they just spice it up a little , I like this movie

  • v vaughn? really? seriously? i thought it was chuck norris

  • @HandbagMafia i wish

  • @imanicekid1

actually they scored on a two yard pitch play, but this was a movie so they tried to make it look cool

  • @imanicekid1 nah the movie was a bit exaggerated

  • @danwalsh92 but what about in real life?

  • Looks like she's jacking him off at 3:03.

  • @kennylives09 Lmao.

  • @kennylives09 dude! you sick! But I agree!

  • Yes that's really Vince Vaughn.. Check the credits. It was his major film debut.

  • That's funny, cause in real life that is not how they score the touchdown. Lol

  • oh never minfd i see that guy ya thats him

  • no it isnt thats not vince vaughn

  • This is actually Vince Vaughns film debut haha

  • great mix of parts in the movie but the best part is when he sacks the quarter back everytime i watch this movie i try not to cry when he gets carried off the field at the end!!!!!

  • i like it when rudy makes vince eats dirt.

  • i just watched it and saw today hahha

  • i knew that... good catch

  • your so money and you don't even know it...

  • He looks nothing like Vince Vaughn. More importantly, why does a movie in English have English subtitles?!?!

  • maybe it's just me, but that guy looks nothing like Vince Vaughn.

  • Way to not show his tackle

  • Is that big dude Patrick Warburton?

  • Did you know that Jon Favreau is in this movie?

  • @kasey172 Yeah he was a chubby guy back then. I didn't realize Vince Vaughn was Ohara. Wow....

  • you brown-nosed suck ass! you suck ass!! lol!

  • what is the song playing at 3:47, its been killing me to know it because its so awesome

  • Where?

  • rudys netew is in my classroom hes a good qurter bak

  • really was that vince vaugh

  • @Mvp0131 lol and then he didnt respond to you after that, owned

  • I was really annoyed by those constant bubbles of words interrupting the clip. there should be an optional button.

  • Comment removed

  • JOE MONTANA arrived in Notre Dame in 1974. He wasn't allowed to start as a freshman (rule back then). I wonder if he was on the sideline watching the inspiration of Rudy in this game? It was 1975, so my guess is that Montana was playing backup? The timline fits.

  • Joe Montana was on the sideline that game he said we didnt break any records that game but he said all of us will never forget that game.

  • @coache3273 That's awesome. I have wondered about that since seeing the movie. Thanks for the info mate. Beauty.

  • @Mvp0131 First of all who said I was in this clip you fucking wannabe. I don't need to prove anything to anyone especially you. I'm not even in this clip loser.

  • He is NOT a top comedian, but he is in the movie. Thanks for the info

  • I woudn't say he's one of the top comedians...

  • this is about the jewish guy getting picked on right?

  • Yes I did know. So was I. But this was before he was a big star.

  • his voice is more high pitched and hes much fitter but if it wasnt for his accent, i wouldnt be able to tell it was vince vaughn lol

  • I think I want a hot fudge cake.

  • @RhettWright I hate you

  • that was for you

  • thats funny I think I see Jon Favreau cheering in the stadium seat he is also in almost every vince vaughn movies

  • Maybe because they are friends and wrote this little movie called Swingers? Don't you ppl know anything about hollywood history.

  • hey, do you know who that coach was?

  • no idea who is it

  • i could swear he was the one guy on the movie with Sean William Scott when he's the wrestler

  • Billy Bob Thornton, is that who the coach is?

  • Chelcie Ross plays Coach Devine in this movie... if you dont know who that is, he's the guy who played the crafty veteran pitcher Eddie Harris in the first Major League, and that guy George in Hoosiers

  • The guy who played coach Parshegian is Jamie Miller the priest from poltergeist.

  • @lastardriver lol it's actually Jason Miller and he played the priest in "The Exorcist." :)

  • @CatieCass Whatever. I'm #59 in blue in the practice scenes. We were trying to tell JASON that a real big time coach wouldn't be squirming around like that unless he were Charlie Weiss. ha ha inside joke.

  • @lastardriver wow you're number 59? omg that's so cool! :) I still have yet to see this entire movie but I really like the clips I've seen.

  • @CatieCass Yeah, the only real ND player in this movie was #75 the guy talking to Rudy in this clip. Man, that was a loooonnnng time ago. Well, not that long.

  • @lastardriver Jeez it must have been awesome to have been a part of such an inspirational film.

  • @CatieCass It was. But the funny thing was ,we had no idea who Rudy was or that it would become what it is today.

  • @danwalsh92 your mom

  • @danwalsh92 they tried to score because head coach Dan Devine wanted to get him in.... they exaggerated in the movie because devine didnt want to put him in but in reality he wanted Rudy in the game!

  • sure as hell looks like billy bob but i'm not positive, i'll get back on this to ya

  • @TheRecreatedR67

Dan Devine played by Chelsie Ross

  • @TheRecreatedR67

No idea, but he's also the dad of Emilio Estevez in the movie Breakfast Club.

''Do you wanna blow your ride? No, school is gonna give a scholarship to a dicipline case.''

  • @TheRecreatedR67 the first coach was ara parseigian, the last coach was dan devine

  • @TheRecreatedR67 Ara Parseghian

  • @TheRecreatedR67 Dan Devine

  • @TheRecreatedR67 Ara Parseghian was the first coach, the second coach for when Rudy actually played was Dan Devine

  • @TheRecreatedR67 At the time it was Lou Holtz. I don't know the actor's name though.

  • knew this for years..even before Vince was REALLY famous...I would always say..."there's that ahole halfback from Rudy again"...now he is a comedic star. Life is surreal.

  • yea prolly i was really suprised wen i saw vince vaughn in the movie

  • Yeah, I saw the last bit of this today (still haven't seen the whole thing!), and noticed Vince under the helmet. He's credited waaaaay down as "Vincent Vaughn". I guess this must be where he and Jon Favreau met, and then went on to do "Swingers" and "Made" together...
