  • looks amazing!, what wheels do you use? and how much did the whole thing cost?

  • @pengashwebb0121 Rear wheels are from go kart (fronts) front wheels came from an electric scooter.

not 100% sure of cost, as so much time was spent making stuff for it.

  • @Mudgrove thanks im thinking of making one witha chainsaw engine, mainly for fun and scale looks. r u on rc burnout forum?

  • @pengashwebb0121 i was just gonna say before i read what the owner put...go kart tires!!! haha killer

  • Thanks - no it's not for sale right now.

  • looks sick u selling?

  • awesome song man !!

  • @coolman603 Thanks!!

its Judas priest "heroes End" from album stained class

  • nice how did you find a chain that would fit the chainsaw clutch.

  • @balak121 I cut the saw chain teeth off the clutch bell, and welded a 35ASA sproket on.

  • U should get one of them RC V12 or V8's in that. Would sound alot better than a single cylinder petrol motor.

  • i got a drag camero

  • well done!

  • That is NASTY as hell man

  • Thanks, man. I took it out for a little run the other week...not bad.

Some little adjustments, get the chute finished, and cameras will roll....

  • Link up 2 brushless 5.5T motors to that bitch and hotwire them with lots of juice, since it's only being run a short distance. Insant power cut as soon as you let off, too. That would be sick.

  • Yah oh yeah.......

Put electric motors in a 7 foot dragster.

    That would be awesome.....NOT!!!!!!!

A beast like this needs to ROAR.

    Electric.

    Pfft.

Would be like watching a movie with no sound.

  • Wow, you obviously don't realize that electric motors have an insanely wider torque curve than a gas/nitro engine. And yeah, the Tesla supercar? That kind of shit can be done on scale. I don't know much about electric motors in RC cars, but I do know that it would haul ass if it's built right. Learn something before you denounce anything.

  • Yes I do know that electric motors have huge torque and are fast if geared right.

I never said anything about that.

Just that it would be lame to have a large scale RC car like this one without the noise of a 2-stroke engine,

I (unlike you) know that this car is being built as a long term project and as a working model - not to break any speed records.

I also like how you say you don't know much about electric motors in RC cars and then tell me to "learn something"

  • Alright good point, and I take back what I said. You're right that a well-built 2-stroke is almost unbeatable on the acceleration. I would know, I like dirt bikes :D

  • we'll be going for a spin soon enough

  • I'll be watching avidly. Rail drag is sweet!

  • bad ass you should driv it

  • y the gnarly music, its an rc car

  • mate for 4 x reasons:

    1. I am from Sydney

    2. Soccer is for poofs

    3. I like RC Cars

    4. I like "gnarly Music" wtf is the use of elevator muzak in its place???!!! ggrrrrr!!!!

  • Beautiful drag car so awsome never seen anythang like it great job sweeet. I would to love to see it drive.

  • can i ask whyit is covered in chicken wire pls

  • yeh mate I used it as a start for the body - it's hand laid fibreglass

  • nice

  • nete schlechtz

  • nice

  • wow man nice car

  • What song is that playing in the background of this video

  • Hellrider by Judas Priest

  • u should put like a dirtbike motor in that then it would fly!!!

  • r they go kart tires the rear 1ns they r huge on that thing

  • Yeh, front Kart wheel/tyres are my back wheels.

I made the hubs from billet, & the axle is S/S steam pipe

  • nice..!

  • where did you get your front tires n rims? the rears look like the small road go-cart ones, correct? im currently looking at building either a dragster somewhat like you have there, or a buggy, 1/4 or 1/3 scale

  • oh, and what about servos?

  • Fronts are from an electric scooter called a techno.

Smallest pneumatic tyres I can find.

Servos are Hi tech 1/4 scale jobs with Aggressor FM radio system

  • Gday colin,

should work at hi torque for lo RPM to get my "hole shot" after that, revs will be double that of a chainsaw (engine used Poulan 44cc)

  • outstanding! the pipe tuned to wot rpm?

  • What's up Muddy, some people don't realize that you built this whole car from scratch. Talk to you later. FuNkY mOnK QSL

  • Thanks mate...your cars look way cool, too!

  • Mate, been 'glassing a body shell; it's starting to become flat. I'll make a quick vid soon of where I'm up to.

  • What's up Muddy, some people don't realize that you built this whole car from scratch. Talk to you later. QSL

  • Thanks mate

  • damnit man, i want it.

thats so sick. great work so far keep us updated!

    i subscribed btw

  • I'll stand by this, so you can go and fuck yourself. OK?
