how could you get that awesome kick sound? i play with the decay, gate and pitch setting, but i can't get even closer.

so If i found one of these, how do I put the samples into them to mix up and make a track? does it have presets? i mildly researched and some say its hard to find anything for the RX5 ,whats that mean?

it's not a sampler, it's a sample playback drum machine. you have to have wave rom carts, of which i know of only a few.

Ho do you do the stuttering? Are the loop points preset for each drum or can you set them yourself?

dude how do you sync the clock out with an external arpeggiator? i want to hook it to my juno 6 but when i plug the clock out to the arp in, the arpeggio is always extremely fast and it doesn't sound right.. help! btw, KILLER BEATS! 5 stars!

You can set the number of click counts per bar.......then you can use the click to clock the arp.

awesome song on an awesome machine. i just got an rx5 too, what did you do with the bass drum? sounds way deeper/louder than any of the ones on mine.

Dig into the machine , it's crazy....

You can tune the drums down...or up. And you can mess with the envelopes, that way you can make them shorte, loner or even stutter IDM like.

I use mine to trigger my modular synthesizer, will post a video soon.

It's really a great underrated machine.

ah, i haven't dug into the envelope function yet, just the pitch. i'll give that a try, should be fun.

it's definitely an underrated powerhouse of a machine, i still can't believe i got mine for 66 bux!
