@CrashManEXE Yeah, exactly like in original. Plus, there's an exploitative overseeing in the 2-player mode, where you can throw Dale into the pit and get an extralife after collecting 50 gems instead of 100.
I just realized a small similarity between Chip N Dale and Donkey Kong, specifically the part where you pick up wooden containers to throw it at enemies.
If I recall correctly, I once played a Chip n Dale 2 for the NES. Don't know if it's legit or not, but I swear the same rabbit boss was there. The thing is, you fought him inside some sewers, and he pumped water at you with that "pogo stick". After all, it does look kinda pump-ish, doesn't it?
It's been a while since I've played this so I could be wrong, but you can defeat airborne enemies with a crate by holding Up and pressing the button to throw.
While they did rip the sprite of the main characters and first level from Chip N' Dale, I must admit I can't recognize the other sprites... They might actually be original! 8O
not only is this a rip off of smb, but also, super mario the enemy dieing sound is the same as when you kick the enemies off into the water... but also dkc, as well... i don't know if you noticed that level 2, the theme to dkc is playing sense when dose chip breathe fire? boy, someone had fun with this game... lets take chip and dale, use sound effects from mario bros. let them gather gems while fighting bow tie wearing enemies, and as a specail attack chip and dale can beath fire... wtf?
So... Squirrel King is about two 'CHIPMUNKS' named 'CHIP' and 'DALE'... I'ma assume the final boss is the 'Squirell King' but then again.. this is a pirate game, and pirate games are never consistent or 'ORIGINAL' *sighs*
This can't be a squirrelking game if it doesn't have horrible grammar and spelling =p

Makes me wonder how did you forgot that the boxes can be also thrown up... I swear, this makes the game a lot easier.

@CrashNicker - They can be thrown upwards? I didn't know that... thanks for mentioning it.

Haha, quite a an interesting blend of pirating. I liked the DK "remix" and the background for the grotto. And why do they throw yoga flames?
