If you are paralyzed, wouldn't you want to walk again? Stem cells have actual promise and if you had read any scientific studies on stem cells you'd have a better informed opinion than saying "they will go nowhere."
Study WW2 and Hitler more and you will see that Hitler was a horrible person. I am not trying to jump on ya but WW2 was 1,000,000 time worse than what we wine about here in America today eksdem. I voted for Obama but he does not totally impress me at all.

I think Chris and Dana would be so happy that this act was passed. Its a great rememberance of them and their goal to end paralysis. Its a new stepping stone for medical research...I'm happy that I got to see it.
In my own humble opinion, this is great piece of legislation. All the possible cures that are available through research are finally able to be explored. I know that big business will do most of the research and most assuredly hold the patents for the discoveries but at least it's a step in the right direction. I also think it is extremely fitting to name the Act after Chris and Dana Reeves.
