Horsetail Falls. Located off Hwy.50 at Kyburz, Cal. I believe it runs out of Horseshoe Lake. Really nowhere near Lake Tahoe. It is a popular trailhead into Desolation Wilderness area. I have been up this trail numerous times into the back country. Truly fabulous country. In the springtime this creek gushes like crazy! I'm too old to go up here anymore and I sure do miss it!!!!
