Unless some "authority" (public radio, Vintage Guitar magazine, etc etc) blesses a musician or a style or a tone, it's "against the rules" and should be sneered at.
If you're such a tight-ass sissy that this tone upsets you, I'm not sure rock and roll is for you. Try Jane Austen or something.

One of the great things about "Sleewalk' is its so versital for guitarist. As a player you can make it your own. Some play it as close to the original as possible. Others experiment with it. Yours is good in it own right,but many people will only like the original sound and won't like yours. Bottom line if you like it, enjoy it. I did.

Sit farther from the amp, take the reverb and delay back down a notch and don't aim the headstock at the speaker cone. (I have a ES-137 Custom and that's how I avoid feedback)

Your phrase timing is off. It sounds like you have not played it enough, to be considered proficient. i.e. stop and go vs. fluid and smooth. I imagine with three (3) months, of focused practice, your technical skill will improve.

You have no idea what i can play or not play, i´ll post some more vids of different styles i play, over 20 years recording and putting many lead tracks with fingers picks etc etc, so be carefull who you say is better than who, MUSIC is not a competition of who´s best, the vid you posted is painfull to watch, no style no sound ,1000´s of mistakes, i just dont know what is in your mind to post such a crap video of yourself.

Who is saying that i´m so good ??, you are inventing words here, plus i never said get a fender first, ive owned many guitars over the years, i just prefer the fender straocaster to all others, i dont and have never liked these large hollow bodied guitars, thats all, if you put vids on you tube you have to accept what people´s view are, good and bad.

Any tips on lessing feedback for a hollow or semi-hollow guitar???
I play with this light O.D. and seem to get a lot of noise. Especially, a ton of shaking when using the bigsby.

Sit farther from the amp, take the reverb and delay back down a notch and don't aim the headstock at the speaker cone. (I have a ES-137 Custom and that's how I avoid feedback)

Thanks for showing the fingerwork this this time around.Your setup looks f*7%$@#g awesome what with the Gretch"s and the Tweedle Dee Dee in the background.I agree the effects are a bit distracting for such a mellow tune but hey every version has its merit go for it. I like to see someone using the whammy bar its totally underreated in my opinion.

Hi ! I know how it is to record a song, making a good take, recording it without the smallest "hesitation"; all things like that ; All of that to tell you that this is not a hating comment, I justy wanna be constructive. I think that there too much efects, and you play too often with the vibrato ; if not that, cool version, I've rated it as 5*. For the Gretsch too, I've recorded many songs with a Gretsch 6120's sound (with a Line6 Variax, & it sounded almost like yours). BYE !

Your phrase timing is off. It sounds like you have not played it enough, to be considered proficient. i.e. stop and go vs. fluid and smooth. I imagine with three (3) months, of focused practice, your technical skill will improve.
