@njlwag It was written with Jermaine Dupri and put on Rivers's demo album "Alone 2" as a "4 or 5 star demo". Rivers considered it to be one of his favorite songs that he's written and has performed it on multiple occasions under different circustances... Heck, there's 3 different versions of the album version.

Obviously, Rivers does not see this song as a joke, he's very proud of it and wants it to be perfect, but the fact is that it never will be.

i've been a fan of weezer since 1994 when i was 11.... bought the first four albums. but nothing from the next two interested me at all. but this song and album (Raditude) is great. i think it's their best stuff since pinkerton. this is good music. yeah it's different from anything they've done. but it's brilliant. and then their first one on epitaph is also good called Hurley, which just came out. not sure yet if it's better than Raditude, but Weezer is back for me. i love it.
