Loroad- get a life and learn how to spell. This parrot is beautiful. I wish I could adopt him but I live in So Cal. I currently have a Mitred Conure- I wonder if they would get along?
I've cared for a mitred before, been bitten plenty, and not always been able to keep a level head -- but, wow, DROWNing? Really glad his ex had second thoughts.
Being one-legged must pose some limitations, since parrots climb so much and use their feet to manipulate food and other objects.
Been said before, but thanks for your work, and that I also hope this guy has found a new home by now.
HE IS BEAUTIFUL! It is nice to see that he has so much trust on you! May i ask how he lost his leg? I hope you have found a home for him, he deserves it!
we are unsure how he lost his leg, but there doesn't seem to be any scarring, so we suspect he may have been born that way.
a previous owner was not kind to him. he bit her really hard and she got so mad, she wrapped him in a towel and tried to drown him. luckily she thought better of it and gave him to us.

They're the most loving birds! I'll give him a good home if he still needs one. I live in FL though. God bless you for helping the sweet little guys.
