There are always SOME changes, but you don't change the important stuff. When they take Superman from the comics to the screen, they don't have Lois Lane fall for some other superhero do they? They didn't put Mary Jane Watson with someone other than Peter Parker, did they? And they shouldn't put Scarlett with someone other than Snake Eyes. You don't change the whole story, or else what's the point?
The romantic scene between her and Duke was a major No need to bring Storm Shadow back in part two and the Cobra Commander character was a hell no because he didnt look anything like a snake. The original Commander was an actual snake transformed into a man.
Although the movie was good there was a couple of things I didnt like. Didnt like the Destro character. He wasnt right for the part. Plus, Destro wasnt French and the Baroness was Russian and she has to stay a bad girl. Not allowed to play the good girl role

I've never been a huge GI Joe fan, but I never really remembered then having those 'accelerator suits' they have in the commercial I saw.
Seems like they are ripping off the Mojinlr armor of the Spartan II's in Halo. (Though the suits in Halo required the user already be bionically amplified to not just kill themselves with the suit)
If they had such suits than my bad, but I thought I had seen and foul and was calling it.

Yeah, the made it the accronim Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity... and it is suppoused ot continue being the "real American Hero." I also read that fans had made such a fuzz, that the makers seriously considered discarding the whole accronym... but I don't think that they did.
Snake Eyes was the first G.I.Joe action figure I ever got. He was so cool. I also mailed away for the Hooded Cobra Commander hehe. Had to wait like 8 weeks or something. I think in all I had about 50 or so action figures and vehicles. Good times.

If movie makers would stay mature in making the films like XMen, Batman, Watchmen then maybe their movies would see the end of a trilogy and serve some kind of entertainment purpose. I seriously can't believe the crappy casting for this movie. With the exception of maybe Snake Eyes/Darth Maul badass Ray Park. This movie is destined to fail not only for the casting that hardly no one knows or relates to, but the fact that it will be made in the cheesiest way. Yeah, the made it the accronim Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity... and it is suppoused ot continue being the "real American Hero." I also read that fans had made such a fuzz, that the makers seriously considered discarding the whole accronym... but I don't think that they did.

Snake Eyes was the first G.I.Joe action figure I ever got. He was so cool. I also mailed away for the Hooded Cobra Commander hehe. Had to wait like 8 weeks or something. I think in all I had about 50 or so action figures and vehicles. Good times.

Anyway He himself is super was a G.I. Joe fan groing up even though he was in England. But his sword work as you canimagine is killer due to the fact he played Darth Maul.
