Great WWF/E champions excelled on both sides of the business. Wrestling IS all about who is the most talented, but it encompasses a lot more than workrate. That's why John Cena is booed mercilessly, because he sucks on both sides of the ball.

If Taka had won because of help from the Acolytes and Funaki, it wouldn't have ruined the WWE's image. They could have had Taka lose the belt the very next show, but it still would've been Taka's one shining moment, and great backstage promo material to see Kai En Tai celebrating and then everybody rushing to try and get a title shot.

Awesome match. WWE should have a rule where two times a year a cruiserweight can challenge for the title. Can you imagine a Shawn Michaels / Paul London match? But, sadly, cruiserweights would expose most of the champs for ebing too slow and boring. It just gets to me when people think because X-wrestler has won a WWE Title X-times or some muscle bound entertainer can give Vince a hard on, is God's gift to pro-wrestling. It's a WWE Title there were titles at the time rarely defended outside of their country that were/are more prestigious. Plus, smaller wrestlers like TAKA that actually changed the wrestling around the late 90s. They're the ones constantly putting on excellent matches and giving wrestling some amazing techniques.
