  • I know that they are not the best couple I've seen, but they are not the youngest couple I've seen too lol, so please give them a chance !! :P

  • lady's head colud be much better

  • Very touching! Please continue practising it.

  • they obviously know what they are doing, and they are obviously off beat. SO obviously, the sync between video and sound is messed up as usual on youtube

  • 0:14 & 1:33 the way she's lopping her head to the side every 2 secs & hanging like a sack of potatoes looks dumb. They have absolutely no chemistry. She's all stiff & wont even look in his direction. It looks like he's trying to support a car accident victim to a gurney 1:41

  • @desolate2 That's the whole idea of an english waltz.. .you don't look each other in the eyes. If you want to look in each others eyes you should dance a rumba

  • The music is "O Mio Babbino Caro" from Giacomo Puccini's opera Gianni Scicchi (or something like that). And yes, the English (or slow) waltz is a very different dance from slow foxtrot.

  • yeah....really:)) it's the piece of opera from Mr Bean's Holiday :))

  • They may not win any competition now, but certainly if any social dance pair can dance like this, it's plenty good enough. For comparison, do a search on youtube for Timothy Howson Joanne Boltan dancing slow waltz to Mandulinata.

  • Does anyone know the name to this piece? It sounds like an Italian opera! And I know I've heard it many times before.

  • Best teachers ever!!!

  • A beautiful performance =) ... I would love to learn that. Thank you for showing.

  • A very good example for the antiquated style of the early 70s - nowadays a bit pitiful ;)

  • @11110110011 harsh words !

  • Sorry, I find them off timing! I prefer to see a couple slightly behind the music. Also, beat "1" needs to last just that tiny bit longer!

  • @teddykan1 that's probably of the youtube, becuse sometimes it playes a music with some lag.You can see that good in car accelerations, when guy shits on the video it's stil on 7000 rpm then like 0,5 sec it fell down to 3500 or something

  • Muy bello Waltz, Inglatera Waltz es muy hermozo tambien!

  • English waltz :

    1......2......3

    Viennese waltz:

    123 123 123 or Zum Pa Pa,Zum Pa pa :P

Slow fox Or Slowfoxtrott (the same):

    1..2..3..4 1..2..3..4

    Clear now?

And this is not a good couple!!!

  • I LOVE THIS COUPLES VERY ELEGANT

  • SHE IS EXCELLENT.

  • Mr.Bean Holiday Music hahaha

  • English waltz and slow foxtrott are definitely a different dance.

  • yes foxtrot is very different than english waltz. but i love waltz more. and the figures are great. when you learn them once its great and you can enjoy very much in this dance.

  • can somene tell me, what the difference betweeen english waltzer and vienna waltzer is ?

  • An English Waltz is e slow waltz (also called slow foxtrot). In this waltz the dancers will go up and down much.

The the waltz from Vienna is a lot quicker (60 steps a second) and it's danced in circles.

If I am wrong please correct me.

  • I believe you are right, but I believe the english waltz and the slow foxtrot are two different dances.

  • @ajv123456 very different:P

  • lEnglish waltz or Slow waltz is danced at 28 to 30 Beats Per Minute Vinesse Waltz at about 48 to 50 BPM

  • /watch?v=XUPer4YtGK4
