You should try to make the ball make a leap once, especially on a high-speed track like this. You could make a small ramp and make it land after like a 2-3 foot leap. That'd be awesome. (Ofcourse it is already :p)
You could make a long supporting platform to attach both parts of the track to so they won't move :p
Absolutely love it. If I were to make one like that, I would use hotwheels tracks rather than K'nex to save me some time. But I'd have to use something else for the lift. Hmm...
This project was all about getting the ball from the second floor to the first floor and back again. I save the gimmicky (and usually less reliable) stuff for my larger ball machines. FYI I have just started building one of those. Should be done by early 2010
This ball tower stood in my house for all of 30 minutes, just long enough to film. The footage at the end is a time-lapse of the ball tower's deconstruction.
Mine happened to work out where it doesnt shake, but if your tower shakes you can do one of 2 things. You can remove a link of chain and hope it isn't too tight, or you can add a gear on a long, hinged arm with a rubber band on it which presses the gear against the chain to stretch it out. The more tension on the chain, the less it should shake.
I would build the marble run through each room and the whole garden!

BTW...
You should have added a totally original creation like a trap door onto it or something.. or a ferris wheel lift thing :) or spiral stairs :)
