@mkghuy Why would you want to show films depicting unhealthy relationships all the time? Think of the impact that'll have on people. Now, imagine someone who's love life isn't all that perfect, and goes to the cinemas to watch a film which is constantly reflecting a mirror opposite their perception.

It's not healthy for commerial revenue either. People love to see happy endings, not coming out sobbing that the couple 'never made it'.

Leave 'depicting reality' up to Science. :)

Hmm maybe u have a point there...but yes people love happy endings but its the opp in real life or just maybe i am being a bit negative after being through lots of heartaches...but trust me u can do only 2 things in pain-sit and cry n piss and moan and listen to these bollywood songs or get up and move on for many others around u...thats why i hav become pesssimistic about bollywood films...they sound unreal to me..aajkal na waisa pyaar bacha hai aur na log..

Comparing Salman's acting in this movie to that of Hritik Roshan's acting in "Koi Mil Gaya", I think Salman deserved an award - but instead Hritik got it.

Hritik no doubt performed very well in that movie too but Hritik's role was something he didnt have to define himself - it was already established for him to be mentally chilidsh but Salman in this movie defined his role himself.

He defined it to be a person deeply in love and one who stands by what he believes in... so he deserved the award
