In my opinion for any real performer marching drummers especially nothing beats all that hard work we put in and then get to take home a medal for it. Sure Travis gets big paychecks and is talented in many ways but I know and am tought by drummers that marched Cavaliers, Blue Devils, Crossmen, Blue Knights etc and all ALWAYS say they are happy even though we have to pay to play instead of paid to play.

let me start by saying i am a huge travis barker fan. The thing with travis is he is very much a pop drummer. Listen to what he plays in comparison with other pop drummers. It blows them away. Listen to what tony royster jr. plays with jay - z. it is way "easier" than what travis plays with blink. Yet TRJ is a fantastic drummer, as is Travis Barker. TB plays the perfect beat for ever song, and knows when to keep it simple. that is why he and TRJ are pros and kids on youtube will never be.
