I'm ashamed to say that I never heard of the blow monkeys until very early this year, but since that time they've become one of my top 5 bands of all time. This song in patricular fits me perfectly.
fantastic track and band, saw them at the prospect of whitby with my now grown up daughters who have grown up listening to them. Thanks for the posting of this great video
Saw the blow monkeys in london at the jazz cafe last year. They were great and the new album is a hit. I would like to see more new videos if they have. Thanks for putting this. A fantastic band and singer.
Undoubtedly one of the greatest and underrated bands of the 1980's. Dr Robert has also produced some outstanding solo music as well. With respect, apart from the first track, Devils Tavern was a disappointment to me though.
@SoulstylistJukebox It didn't seem to have the 'buzz' of Animal Magic, Whoops there goes the Neighbourhood or Grocers Daughter. To be honest it seemed a bit flat. Having said that, the Blow Monkeys could bring an album out full of someone banging a dustbin lid, i would still buy it through loyalty to the band, and have done this since 1985.
Saw The Blow Monkeys at The Stables in Milton Keynes tonight .... on stage over two hours .... amazing concert ... such a tight band .... the songs from the new album sounded fantastic live

I've notice Dr. Robert dosnt show his face much. I know he's much older now. Did he grow old gracefully? Hmmmm.
