This is a very special record to me. This Columbia 78 of the California Ramblers Stockholm Stomp was one of the first jazz 78's I found in a Salvation Army store 50 years ago. I loved Rollin's bass sax solo. My first exposure to music that had a real swing.
I have another 78 by the California Ramblers entitled "Show Me the Way to Go Home" and another one called "Hot Lips". These are from the 1920's. I got those two at Goodwill last week along with other batch of 78's from the 1920's as well. Thanks!
Absolutely great; thanks.
