i think the answer is staring all straight people in the face. did you decide to love members of the opposite sex? i think it's safe to assume that your answer is no. why is it any different for homosexual people? i did no choose my sexuality and to be entirely honest whatever findings science may or may not find wont change that. also if you compare home many people have succesfuly made a sexual conversion and how mnay people quit smoking you can see a huge difference in the sucess rate.

Whats your point? From a "marketing" standpoint, homos are only like 6% of the audience, to spend time and money with so few potential customers would be silly.
Country music artist rarely advertise their new releases in Rap magazines for the same reason.

Your impressions of others are certainly valid to you so I can't debate that but; I have seen others claim with much more certainty that a real change of orientation has taken place within them and I would agree it is always connected to a religious experience as well. But that should not be surprising, you will also find the highest rate of success from addicts of many types are connected to a religious aspect. As far as "therapy" being an answer... it seldom is, from what I have observed.

A picture says more then thousands of words, for this video I'd exchange thousands for millions. I wouldn't take a pill even if it'd make my life easier because being gay is who I am, if people can't accept it there's the door *pointing* don't let it hit your butt on the way out of my life. =)

Imagine if the parents who've turned away from their lgbt children, if the churches and lawmakers and sign-carriers and haters could have a month of feeling what it is to be shunned simply by whom you love, or whom you make love with. Now that's a pill I would want funding for. A tolerance drug.

There are a lot of studies done by universities and other sources.
Of course you raise a good point, why is it the "evidence" many gays rely are from gay researchers or funded by similar groups.
